Six Join Our Buy Local Ranks
As we prepare to update the 2014 Pure Catskills Guide to Farm Fresh Products in time for Memorial Day weekend, we wanted to share with you a few "newbies to our flock." Take a few minutes to get acquainted with these six new Pure Catskills members:

Catskill Mountain Broomworks: handcrafted brooms, sweeps and brushes
Glenanore Farm: pasture-raised beef and goats
The Green Shepherd Farm: specializing in grass-fed sheep and lamb
TheGreenSpace: If it's made in NY, you'll find it, and only it, here.
JADA Hill Farm, LLC: Boer goat breeder and maker of goat-milk soaps
Maple Hill Farm: There's more to this name!

Our membership growth is a sure sign that regional farms, food and wood product businesses are, too. And they will continue to thrive with your support. Only you can help grow our local economy grow, from the ground up. Choose to spend your food dollars with Pure Catskills members.

We make shopping local easy with our online directory and print guide.

But you make it happen.

Visit a Winter Market
Regional farmers are holding strong at indoor markets like Oneonta (alternate Saturdays), Rhinebeck (alternate Sundays), Rosendale (2nd Sundays), Callicoon (alternate Sundays) Cooperstown (Saturdays).

What's Fresh in January? Snow-schmo! You can still get Catskills products year-round. This month, we feature tea and honey (a warm-up combo), plus onions and chicken (a super winter soup duo).
Local Experiments
Feeling coop'd up this winter? Visit our Recipe Pages for belly-warming concoctions steeped in FRESH tastes. We'll be over any morning for these pumpkin waffles with warm cinnamon apples. Give it a try!
