The Pool will be open for anyone that would like to "test drive" lures before they buy. Musky Tackle Online will be presenting a Poolside Demo of some new muskie lures for 2013 as well.
Some tables are still available for rent. $20/table for non BLC members or $15/table for BLC members. Up to 2 people per table if so desired.

Perch Fishing on Leech Lake

Time: 10am - 3pm
As of right now the Perch Outing is still a go. Leech Lake has a ton of snow on it and traveling can be difficult. Tourney Director Brett Stark will be checking things out to see where on the lake we'll be fishing. If you are planning on joining us for some jumbo perch fishing please contact Brett for more info on location to meet.

Banquet a Success
Once again our Banquet was a success! Over 250 people joined us for food, fun and a ton of prizes. We have a couple outstanding bills to pay within the next couple weeks but so far it looks like the BLC raised about $14,000. It's great news as we have a ton of things planned for 2013 including a revised BLC Youth Day and a couple muskie research projects. A huge Thank You goes out to everyone that attended and all of the sponsors that showed their support to the Chapter at it's agenda. It's very much appreciated and we are looking forward to next year!

MN Muskie Expo
For the first time the BLC will have a booth at this year's Minnesota Muskie Expo at Concordia University. The BLC booth will be set up to promote the Chapter and the Muskie Shootout. If your at the show, stop on by and say hi. We'll be at booth #515.

2013 Gil Hamm
So far the BLC has 1 team signed up for the Gil Hamm on Lake Vermilion September 18-20, 2013. We are expecting to be sending 3-4 teams. If you are interested in fishing the Hamm contact Jeff to get signed up. The Chapter will be covering the $25/team entry fee. Participates will be responsible for their own cabin reservations. 2013 BLC Muskie Shootout
We have received our Tournament permit for this year's Muskie Shootout on Leech Lake, October 12-13 at Horseshoe Bay Lodge. Another great Tournament is planned with a payout increase over last year. For more details visit www.muskieshootout.com.
