How long have you been a part of the YPN? Since September 2014
 

Why did you decide to join the YPN? After moving back to Saginaw after several years away, I wanted to not only connect with professionals my age, but to also make new friends as well. It's been great for both so far!  

Are you on any committees of the YPN? Yes, the Next Generation Fund and Professional Development Task Force. 

Name an experience you enjoyed that the YPN hosted and why: I really enjoy the After 5 events. My favorite so far was hosted at the Saginaw Children's Zoo. It was great to be able to explore and socialize on our own while the zoo was closed to the public. 

How has the YPN been helpful for your career? Through the YPN I am learning to be more outgoing professionally, and this has lead me to several committees that I can participate in for work. This enhances my business's visibility as well as my own. 
 

What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten? Technically it's a quote that came on a bookmark from a high school teacher of mine, for my graduation. I still have the bookmark and leave it out so I can remind myself, "Never, never, never give up" by Winston Churchill.
