The 2014-15 school year at UC Berkeley is off and running. New students are piling into dorms, lugging boxes, meeting roommates and getting their bearings on campus. UC Berkeley greets the newbies with three weeks of welcome activities, which kicked off with convocation Monday afternoon. Classes start on Thursday.
