Parked bikes A pledge made by UC Berkeley in 2007 to reduce its carbon footprint to 1990 levels has been met two years early. The achievement also puts the campus eight years ahead of meeting state and UC calls for lowering greenhouse-gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020.
