It looks like holiday parties are back in style with 80 percent of firms surveyed planning some sort of holiday party this year, which is up from 77 percent in 2014 and 70 percent in 2013. In Seattle, some of the top companies are throwing some pretty swanky holiday parties this year. Zillow, known for their holiday shin-digs as pictured here in a tropically-themed bash from years past, plans to rent out the Washington State Convention Center with three bands and two DJs to entertain its 4,200 holiday party attendees, while Expedia is throwing a cruise-ship-themed party that includes a casino for its 3,000 employees and guests.
