GOOD, BAD & WEIRD

2013: for some a year to remember, for others a year to forget. In Washington State, we ended 2013 with some good news including the legalization of recreational marijuana and the estimated money it will bring into the state. The Seattle Seahawks are poised to move forward toward Super Bowl 2014, but fans should expect 12th Man travel to New York to be costly, as Super Bowl fans were set back anywhere from $5-10k last year, which included flights, hotel, food, and fan gear. At Delivery Express we do what many people do at the start of any new year, we take stock of the previous year and look ahead to what's coming. 2013 was our 17th year in business and we added many new clients to our existing group of long time shippers - some who have been with us since the beginning in 1997. We also expanded beyond the Puget Sound Region and now make deliveries throughout Washington and Oregon, and parts of Idaho, Montana and California. We even have a client that puts us to work in snowy Anchorage, Alaska.

2014 looks to be just as exciting, as we made a number of substantial investments in our technology in 2013, which we'll continue to deploy in the new year to help make our customer experience more efficient and effective.

We will continue to expand our fleet and work with our drivers to be even more responsive to our customers' needs. We are nothing without our customers and appreciate all of you. We look forward to supporting all of you in 2014 and beyond!
