CHAMBER CONNECTION: Week of May 19, 2014
Greetings from Pulaski County
Chamber of Commerce

Dear Members:

How do you define success? Is it about setting a goal and achieving that goal? Is it about being the best you can be? Does it mean balancing work and your personal life?  Defining success is so subjective! I would imagine that what you deemed being successful at age 25 was no longer the same by age 35 or 45. Have you ever met someone that completely changed the course of their lives and redefined their idea of success? I guess success is really just another fluid term; the way we perceive success is constantly changing.  Today's success can be tomorrow's failure and today's failure can be tomorrow's success.

One thing that we can count as a success regardless of how we define it is THE MARKETPLACE.  Come on out to the opening  tomorrow night, Tuesday,  May 20th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and experience all of the fun of  THE MARKETPLACE!  Enjoy the samplings of Chef Paul, Virginia Eagle, and Barrel Cave Wines, and the music of "Dr. Hanks & Friends:  Don't Quit your Day Job".   Additionally, there will be special features at THE MARKETPLACE from Claytor Lake and Friends of Peak Creek!

Work hard, be productive and above all else stay positive!
