Midweek Music & Meditation, Wednesdays, 4:30-5 pm
This service is offered for anyone who would find comfort in a time of reflection, music, and prayer. Prayer requests placed in The Carpenter's Box on the Christ Chapel table are included in each Midweek Music and Meditation time of prayer.

A Prayer About Change

The news is that God's wind is blowing.
It may be a breeze that cools and comforts.
It may be a gust that summons you to notice.
It may be a storm that blows you where you have never been before.

Whatever the wind is in your life,
Pay attention to it.....
And the blessing of God,
Father, Son and Spirit will abide with you always.

Jim and Betty Dowd Enjoying Retirement in St. Louis

Jim and Betty Dowd Enjoying Retirement in St. Louis
During a drive out west the Keltners paid a surprise visit on the Dowds in St. Louis.   Without a telephone number or an address where would you find the Dowds?   You would look for a Presbyterian Church and sure enough you would find the Dowds.

Jim and Betty gave a tour of the Second Presbyterian Church in St. Louis.  2nd Pres is a venerable old Church a lot like Covenant.   Jim and Betty are deeply involved in the Church's social justice work.   Betty sings in the choir.   In the winter months they live within walking distance of the Church.

The stunning stained glass above is one of 13 Tiffany windows that are in the Church.   This window is entitled the Ascension of Christ.   The positioning of the window in its location allows for the halo of Christ to be the last spot of light at sunset.
Christians Bear Witness
