Thank you for all the best wishes and support in my recent campaign to be appointed to the Cuyahoga County Council.  While I did not win the race, I came in second of five candidates!! It was an incredibly exciting experience and I learned a lot about issues facing the county.    - Carol Roe

Music Notes
19th Century Paris.
Construction of the Eiffel Tower in 1888
We welcome the Chapel and Psalter choirs to our worship service joining the sopranos and altos from the Covenant Choir. The service music is taken from the period of late 19th century France, a flourishing period for liturgical organ and choral music in Paris. For the communion service, the choir presents three movements from the Messe Breve (or short mass) by Lo Delibes (1836-1891). The introit and offertory feature two other communion motets from the period, O Salutaris by Andr Caplet (1878-1925) and Tantum Ergo by Leon Bollmann (1862-1897). The organ prelude, Le Banquet Cleste (The Celestial Banquet) was the first published organ work of Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992).
