Dear Fellow Member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church,
As you probably know, the call process that will eventually bring us our new full time pastor is in full swing. The Discernment Committees task of creating a Ministry Site
Profile report to be sent to the ELCA Synod is to be presented to Church Council on April 13th for approval. The report allows potential candidates to get to know us and see if they would be a good fit as our pastor.
We thank all that participated in our first survey as it has been tabulated and added to the report. The attached survey, Survey #2, is our last request for feedback from the
congregation. It is a very important step in your participation as it deals with your expectations of our new pastor. The deadline for completing Survey #2 is April 6th.
Please take the time to fill in the survey as this is your opportunity to be heard. We would like to receive one survey from each voting (confirmed) member.
How to fill in the survey
The First Section:
Please read the entire section before beginning to fill out the survey. Reading from the list of possible characteristics for our new pastor, pick 5 characteristics that are a top
priority to you. Then check them off in the left column. Next pick 5 additional characteristics that you consider to be almost as important as the first 5 and check
them off in the right column. Please do not check the same characteristic in both columns.
The Second Section:
Again, please read the entire section before beginning to fill it out. Reading from the tasks presented, check off the 5 that you consider the most critical for our new pastor.
If you feel that there is a characteristic or task you would like our new pastor to have that is not listed, please add it in the box provided at the end of the survey.
We encourage you to participate as we try to Discover your individual vision for St. Paul and Develop our congregation's collective future Direction. In other words, we'll serve as
Your voice to God's ear. Any individual one-on-one feedback will be kept confidential as we compile a representative congregational Ministry Site Profile.
