A Note of Thanks

I was overwhelmed by the wonderful tribute, gift and reception for me on August 25th.  The plaque observing my thirty-three years of service to St. Paul has a place of honor in my living room.  It is beautiful!  And I am deeply touched by the brass plate on the organ recognizing my part in acquiring the Holtkamp organ.  It was a most challenging and rewarding time seeing the realization of the dream our forefathers had to install a pipe organ.  If you had any part in preparing, serving or cleaning up after the reception, I thank you.  You are the silent angels!  For all the cards, good wishes, hugs and prayers, I thank you with all my heart.  You have truly been a blessing to me.  I will miss sitting on the bench each Sunday but I look forward to sitting with you in the congregation.
