Watson Clinic Cancer & Research Center Celebrates Additional Achievement
Last month we told you about our cancer center's gold status reaccreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC).
This month, Watson Clinic Cancer & Research Center was presented with the CoC's 2016 Outstanding Achievement Award. The award is only given to facilities that set a standard for excellence in cancer care. We are the state's sole recipient of this award.

New Sports Medicine Location Opening in September
In an effort to increase patient convenience and accessibility for effective sports injury repair and rehabilitation services, we are proud to announce the opening of a new physical therapy & sports medicine facility serving residents of south Lakeland, Bartow and surrounding communities starting Tuesday, September 6.

Local Organization Joins Forces to Inspire Cancer Center Patients
The Northern and Central Florida chapters of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, recently joined forces with Cannon Subaru of Lakeland to bring joy and comfort to the hearts of our Cancer & Research Center patients.
Customers of the car dealership wrote notes of encouragement to our patients. Their inspiring messages were delivered to our cancer center along with 100 beautifully stitched blankets.

Flu Clinics Opening Soon for Patients
Our flu clinics will be open to patients starting Wednesday, September 7. For patients 65 years of age and older, the clinic will also offer the high dose flu vaccine, as well as both forms of the pneumonia vaccine - Prevnar and Pneumovax.

Labor Day Hours Notification
Watson Clinic will be closed to observe Labor Day on Monday, September 5.
