New Providers Join Watson Clinic |
Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome three additional members to our team of expert specialists.
Pediatrician Sheena H. Tonkin, MD has joined the team at our South location at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Rd. in Lakeland. Dr. Tonkin will offer pediatric care including child wellness visits, immunizations, preventative care, newborn care and the management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions.

Watson Clinic Neurologist Publishes Significant Findings on HIV-Associated Neurologic Concerns
Watson Clinic neurologist Jeffrey A. Rumbaugh, MD, PhD, has co-authored a study which was recently published in Neurology Clinical Practice, the official journal of the American Academy of Neurology. In the study, Dr. Rumbaugh uncovered and explored five new phenomena related to the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and its role in the development of neurocognitive disorders. The virus represents the leading cause of dementia in people under the age of 40 worldwide. Click here to read more.
