In a tradition that's lasted for more than thirty years, Watson Clinic proudly hosted this year's Leadership Lakeland inductees during their annual tour of area healthcare facilities.
Assembled by the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, the event presents us with an opportunity to share the Watson Clinic legacy with professionals from various fields of local business across the community.

Watson Clinic Serves as Official Medical Provider
Detroit Tigers Florida Operation and Lakeland Flying Tigers
The fun and excitement of Tigers baseball is back, and Watson Clinic is proud to be the official medical provider of the Detroit Tigers Florida Operation and Lakeland Flying Tigers for what promises to be another sensational season!
Watson Clinic's involvement starts before the season gets under way as a specially assembled team of our doctors, nurses and medical assistants perform comprehensive examinations on every potential major and minor league player throughout February and March. These exams result in the player's medical clearance to play ball. Once the season begins, our Watson Clinic experts, led by team physician Dr. Louis Saco, remain on-call at all times to provide Tiger athletes with any medical service required.
Spring training will draw thousands to Joker Marchant Stadium, where game attendees will enjoy evidence of the unique partnership between Watson Clinic and the Tigers with an article in the Spring Training program, banners on the field, health tips read during each game, and a custom-made commercial that plays on the Tigers jumbotron.
Komen Florida Suncoast Polk Race for the Cure
The Watson Clinic Foundation was honored to be a sponsor of the annual Komen Florida Suncoast Polk Race for the Cure. Hosted at Lakeland's Joker Marchant Stadium, representatives from Watson Clinic joined in the event to help raise funds for breast cancer research, education and awareness.
Watson Clinic Foundation Auxiliary Celebrates 10th Anniversary
In February, the Watson Clinic Foundation Auxiliary hosted their annual Toast to Find a Cure Wine & Cheese Social from the Lakeland Yacht & Country Club. Now in its tenth year, this signature event has thus far raised well over a half a million dollars for local cancer education and outreach efforts.
Headed by area philanthropist and chairperson Linda Logan, the Auxiliary's annual gala includes a gathering of members of the community - all joined together for a common purpose.
