$1,200 Raised for New Dog Park
About 40 dogs and their owners braved chilly weather on October 4 for, Doggin' it in the Greenway, a dog walk fundraiser to promote a Northwest side dog park. The event raised $1,200 for amenities at the future park.

A special thanks to the Northwest Neighbors Neighborhood Association Canine Corner and Cats Too!, and La Bella Pet Spa for their efforts to help make this event a success. We look forward to working with them in the spring on another walk.

We are planning a meeting for everyone interested in a Northwest side dog park on Dec 2, 2014 at 6:30 pm. It will be held in the Time Check Conference Rom at the City Services Center, 500 15th Avenue SW in Ce3dar Rapids. Please come!

Work Day at Cheyenne This Saturday
K9COLA will be hosting a workday at Cheyenne this Saturday, November 15th starting at  9:00 am. Please bring a shovel if you have one. We'll be filling in holes, tiding up, and preparing for winter. With enough volunteers the work should only take about an hour.

If you can help, email Kelly: kelly@k9cola.org.
