Park Flooded!
 Cheyenne Park has been closed due to flooding.
The National Weather Service reports that as of 3:00 pm today, Thursday, the Cedar River at Cedar Rapids was at 16.5 ft and rising. "Major flooding is occurring and forecast to continue." A crest of 19.9 ft on Saturday evening, 8 ft above flood stage, is predicted.
We will let you know when the park reopens. Meanwhile, we are speaking with the City about opening K9 Acres early.
