Imagine No Malaria!
In 2007, the World Health Organization estimated there were more than 1,000,000 malaria related fatalities.
In 2015, the number was reduced to 438,000. While that is still a staggering number, an over 50% increase in life is worth celebrating!
Thanks to the efforts of The United Methodist Church and our partners, we are on our way to beating malaria for good.

An Open Invitation
Pastor Terry
Everyone loves an invitation, and the amazing news is that God's invitation for salvation is open to all.
But it doesn't stop there.
God is also inviting us to have a relationship with Him and with one another, as living testimonies of His gracious love. We participate in that by "being" the church, by getting involved in church activities/ministries, and giving our time, treasures, and talents for His kingdom.
The official United Methodist slogan is "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors", an excellent description on how the church is called to be the epitome of an open invitation.
When we say we are Journey UMC, we're making a statement on how we, as Christians, are to actively carry out God's open invitation of grace and salvation for the world.
We must work together to achieve this goal, because none of us can or should do it alone. We can always do more in our local communities, and we can always share God's love with those who desperately need to know Christ. So let's get involved, let's understand that church is more about "action" than an "association". Let's do our part in welcoming others into the body of Christ.

Online Giving
Online giving is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to give back to the church and help it grow. Please consider setting up recurring electronic payments through our online payment system. It's simple to set up and manage! No more check writing or missing opportunities to give when you are not able to attend services.
