Save the Dates for the MBI-PAC Sporting Clay Builders' Classic!

Dates have been set for the 4th Annual MBI-PAC Sporting Clay Builders' Classic events.  In 2015, over 125 shooters participated, combining to raise nearly $25,000 for the MBI-PAC and our continued efforts to support pro-business, pro-construction policymakers. The event has grown in registrations each year and has already become a highly anticipated annual offering by MBI.

If you are not a shooter, please know that your company can also be a sponsor of the event. There are many sponsorship opportunities available at both event locations. For information on sponsorships, please contact Tania Bowman at tbowman@mbionline.com or (515) 657-4390.

If you would like to reserve a team of five now to beat the rush, please contact Laurie Delmott at ldelmott@mbionline.com or (515) 657-4383.

The Master Builders of Iowa works tirelessly to represent the interests of Iowa's construction industry at the Iowa Capitol as well as the local level (county, city and school). In this role, MBI's public affairs program is unique in its unwavering support of Iowa's construction industry. Likewise, an integral part of this lobbying effort is the MBI-PAC. As you know, the MBI-PAC is an important tool to MBI's public affairs program and complements our constant presence at the Iowa Capitol and at the local level. We ask today that you join in with your construction colleagues by contributing to the MBI-PAC.

By investing in the MBI-PAC, your contribution will be pooled with the funds from hundreds of construction professionals from throughout Iowa and will be used to support pro-growth candidates who want to work with MBI in expanding construction market opportunities and limiting regulatory burdens that hamper profits. Over the last two legislative sessions, MBI has continued to focus on creating pro-business legislation, while working to counter the anti-growth efforts of the trial lawyers, the environmentalists and organized labor. Without MBI's presence at the Iowa Capitol, the regulatory landscape for Iowa contractors would be far less than favorable and much more litigious.

Did you know that MBI offers at least one webinar a month to only MBI members, and that they are free to connect to? The topics vary month to month and are a great addition to your training program. Each webinar is recorded and archived on the MBI website so that our members are able to access the various training topics at any time.
