MBI is offering the OSHA 30 Hour course in Des Moines March 15 - 18th.  If an employee with safety oversight for your company has not had this training, or if the training occurred more than 5 years ago, MBI recommends they attend this course.  Many owners, Construction Managers, and General Contractors are requiring trained safety representatives on their job site having, at a minimum, the OSHA 30-Hour course.

MBI is offering a free, members-only webinar on March 22nd presented by Iowa Workforce Development to offer assistance on how you can build your workforce through an apprenticeship program. Attend the webinar to learn how apprenticeships can help your company build a skilled applicant pool, reduce training costs, and improve employee retention. A program that can help pay for the costs associated with apprenticeships will also be discussed. The webinar will also discuss how apprenticeships can assist in recruiting veterans to your company through specific programs.
