On June 18-19th, MBI held the first all-class reunion for the MB EYE on the Future leadership program in Riverside, Iowa.  There were about 40 leaders in attendance and a great time was had by all.  We would like to thank the sponsors of the reunion and we couldn't have done it without their support:  BirdDogHR, Stetson Building Products, Inc., TrueNorth Construction Specialty Group and Whitfield & Eddy, PLC.

Hot work environments can affect the body's natural ability to cool itself through perspiration, which can lead to heat-related illness. This may appear in many different forms and levels of severity. The most extreme heat-induced illnesses are heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If not treated, severe heat-related illnesses can lead to mental confusion, seizures or even death.   

The common signs of heat illness are:

• Fatigue
• Heat Rash
• Fainting
• Muscle Cramps

Be sure to watch for these symptoms in yourself and your team members, and take preventive measures to avoid heat-induced illnesses.
