Important Industry Information - MBI Wage Survey Forms on the Way

Since the mid-1980s, the Master Builders of Iowa has conducted a confidential wage survey for overhead personnel every two years. Through the services of the HR consulting group Verisight, the survey gathers wage data from general and specialty contractors, as well as construction material suppliers.

It is important to note the following:

  • The survey form will be emailed to your firm on May 12, 2015 by Verisight.
  • Only those that participate will be given the results.
  • Information gathered is strictly confidential and only seen by Verisight.
  • The more members who participate, the more meaningful the data collected.
  • The survey has been redesigned to be easier and more efficient.
  • To enhance confidentiality, the survey has changed to a regional format, as opposed to data collection subject to a particular city.
  • The report is free to those that participate. Non-participants will not receive survey results.

We are putting this information out ahead of the actual electronic distribution from Verisight so that member companies can be alerted to look for it. Please take the time to participate and help make this a meaningful and valuable report to MBI Members. (This data can be the most accurate compensation update in Iowa, if members choose to participate.)

If there are any questions, please contact Laurie Delmott - ldelmott@mbionline.com or 515-657-4383.
