Protect Your Money During the Holidays

There is a nip in the air, which means fall is here, and the the Holiday Season has officially begun. This is also the time of year where theft and fraud are the most prevalent.
There have been a rash of scams at stores where the "Cash Back" option is available when using your credit or debit card. Some cashiers have been utilizing this option, without the customers' knowledge, and pocketing the cash. This is FRAUD and can lead to overdrafts or interest charges.
As you start your shopping for the Holidays, pay attention to your receipts, and check them carefully before leaving any cashier's station!

 We are proud to be 10 years old. Thank you from all of us for helping us celebrate!
Looking forward, we are renewing and refreshing our commitment to the community. Midtown Bank has recently put forth strong efforts to be involved in Midtown through volunteer opportunities with the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Christmas Parade, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Midtown Assistance Center. As we wrap up 2013 with these organizations we will continue to exercise community involvement with Midtown Alliance, Habitat for Humanity and other nonprofit orginizations throughout 2014.
Volunteering will be a focal point of the culture of Midtown Bank. Be sure to check the new section to the right for more details monthly. We will ask for volunteers and hope that in return you will have a fun, heartwarming, time at all of the events we have now and in the future!

Banking Hours Reminder
Midtown Bank will be Closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28th.
However, we will be open this year on Black Friday, November 29th.

Partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank
Midtown Bank is proud to be partnering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) to help bring hope, relief and security to our neighbors struggling with hunger.
From now until November 21st, Midtown Bank will be collecting non-perishable food and paper products/toiletries to help the ACFB meet more of the growing need in our community. Monetary donations are also welcome and can be offered at the Bank or by clicking the "Donate" link below.
