The USGBC - Missouri Gateway Chapter works tirelessly to make sure we are equipped with the knowledge and resources to make a meaningful, positive impact on the environment. As 2014 is wrapping up, I personally want to thank all of you who have helped us achieve so much.
To me, the Chapter is one of the single best regional organizations that actively works to reduce the built environment's impact on our natural resources. This is evident in our monthly programs, ranging from energy efficiency to the human experience of biophilic design. Projects such as the 25 x 20 Benchmarking Campaign and the Green Schools Quest are engaging communities across the region to create a more sustainable environment while saving both financial and natural resources. These programs would not be possible without the financial support of our members, our sponsors, and YOU!
As a Chapter of more than 500 members, we are an influential force for positive change in the region. What we represent is the desire to grow our businesses, organizations, schools, and community in a sustainable way. We're making a large impact, but there's a lot of work to be done.
You may be considering making year-end donations to organizations that need support. While there is a long list of worthy causes that can benefit from contributions, I personally ensure that USGBC - Missouri Gateway Chapter is at the top of my list. Please consider donating $10, $50, $150, or anything that is meaningful to you so that we can continue to transform the built environment at the pace that we'd all like to see.
"What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make."
Thanks for your continued support. Have a very Happy Holiday season!
