Green Building Tour of Urban Chestnut Brewery
Tuesday, October 14, 5:30 - 7:30

The former Renard Paper Co. warehouse and distribution building in the Grove was recently converted into a new brewery for Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. This project, which is pursuing LEED certification, transformed the existing space- reopening bricked over windows, opening up the middle of the building, and making significant improvements to the building's exterior. Join us to tour this green building!

Sponsored by Green Street St Louis, HBD Construction, Solutions AEC and Trivers Associates

The USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter is accepting proposals for educational programs to be offered in 2015. We are particularly seeking in-depth workshops - extended consideration of topics to build upon green building professionals' existing knowledge. Think outside of the box and support USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter's efforts to offer a diverse selection of programs to educate our members and community on current green building principles and practices! Proposals are due by Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 11:59 PM CST.

A Flooding St Louis?
Tuesday, November 11, 7:30 - 9:00 am
How do we develop a resilient St. Louis community in the face of a changing environment? Whether it's flood-plain development, a changing insurance landscape, or uncertain government regulation, part of the answer will be how we approach the relationship between water and our built environment. Panelists from diverse perspectives will discuss the current status and future implications of these topics.
Co-sponsors by the American Planning Association - Missouri Chapter, USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter, and the Urban Land Institute - St. Louis
