A lively panel discussion with experienced practitioners of green home remodeling- from historic rehabs to affordable remodels to sustainable interiors. Join us to learn more about USGBC or ASID's ReGreen program, the Green Remodel Path National Green Building Standard, and the USGBC's Green Home Guide.

During the networking portion of the evening, we will be raffling off a $50 Big Shark gift card! Raffle tickets will be $5 each, or $20 for five. All proceeds support the Chapter's scholarship program.

Applications for schools are open until September 15- encourage your neighborhood school, your alma mater or your children's school to apply!

Join the St. Louis Green Business Challenge for their annual Green Products & Services EXPO and a seminar on High Performing People and Buildings featuring the Chapter's LEED Community Project. Free to all!

Support Scholarships at the ECORIDE
Sunday, October 5, 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
  Pump up your tires, grab your helmet, and join the fun at the Fifth Annual ECORIDE! Choose between  long and short bike rides and a walking tour of Soulard. And NEW this year, the bike routes will go south to Jefferson Barracks Park!

Proceeds from the ECORIDE benefit the Chapter's scholarship fund
, which provides green building & sustainability education and training for those who normally would not have access.


You can also support our scholarship fund at our September 9th program! We will be raffling off a $50 Big Shark gift card. Raffle tickets will be $5 each, or get five tickets for $20!

Sustainapalooza, a conference on sustainable building practices for architects, engineers, builders and homeowners,  is returning to Columbia!

 

This year, USGBC-MGC Mid-Missouri Branch and AIA Mid-Missouri are excited to partner with Columbia's Sustainable Living Fair. Friday will feature presentations on sustainable building design, construction and maintenance. Saturday activities include green building tours, presentations & a product expo.

LEED v4 for Homes Online Webinar Series
Each Wednesday from Sept 3 - Nov 5th, 4:30 - 6:00 pm EST  
The Alliance for Environmental Sustainability is offering members of the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter discounts on their upcoming 8 week webinar series, "Understanding LEED for Homes v4." The series will review real case studies from the version 4 pilot, credit by credit interpretations, market acceptance, and cost benefit analysis and comparisons to the old rating system.
