LEED Community Project to Kick-off in December!

The USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter's LEED Community Project aims to assist other non-profits interested in greening their buildings by seeking certification using LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance.

Together, Chapter volunteers work to complete LEED EB:O+M documentation. They gain valuable LEED project experience and the eligibility to sit for any of the LEED AP exams, and the non-profit gets a healthier, more environmentally and fiscally responsible building.

Are you a Chapter member looking to gain experience working on a LEED Project or looking to earn continuing education hours? Apply to volunteer and save the date for the December 12th kickoff!

Consider the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter on Giving Tuesday

You've heard of Black Friday and maybe Cyber Monday? Well there's a new day in the Holiday Season- a day to give back!  Giving Tuesday is a special call to action, a day dedicated to giving during the annual shopping season.

This year, when you are thinking of making a year-end charitable contribution, keep the USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter in mind.

Founded in 2001, we are much more than a member group or a professional organization. Along with providing valuable education and networking opportunities for members and non-members alike, we provide a wide-range of community projects, such as our Green Schools Quest, the LEED Community Project and our Green Shadow Program. Together we call these projects Community Build.

So on December 3rd, 2013 we hope you consider supporting our work to provide everyone with access to green buildings and green communities. Visit our website to make a donation.
