This is the tenth anniversary of Greening the Heartland, the USGBC's Midwest regional conference! The conference will take place in Chicago on September 9th and 10th, co-located with the BuildingChicago conference. This year's conference theme is resilience- sessions encourage robust discussion of how the Heartland's building industry is evolving to embed resilience into its solutions for the built environment. Topic areas include Health & Environmental Quality, High Performance Buildings & Building Science, Design for Resilience, Green Technologies & Materials, Natural Capitalism, Sustainable Community & Campus, Process, and more!

We've extended the deadline for proposals for our September 10th DIY Sustainability Program!
We are still seeking presenters and topic ideas surrounding the theme of 'DIY' (Do It Yourself) Sustainability.
