The Law Office of Lorie L. Burch is now an LGBT Certified Business
The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) recently certified the Law Office of Lorie L. Burch, PC, as an LGBTBE (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,
or Transgender Business Enterprise).
Being certified by the NGLCC means that a business has gone through an in-depth certification process that confirms the business is owned, operated, and controlled by an LGBT individual or LGBT individuals for the purposes of participation in the NGLCC Supplier Diversity Initiative.
"I am extremely proud to market my law practice as an LGBT Certified Business" Burch says. Acting as the brand for her business, Lorie recognizes the importance of being involved with the LGBT community having served as the past Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce, and the 2011 Co-Chair of the D/FW Human Rights Campaign Steering Committee. In addition to her leadership roles, she was honored as the North Texas GLBT Chamber's Business Person of the Year in 2008. "The D/FW LGBT community has been instrumental in helping my business grow, and I feel that this certification is one way to continue building those relationships."
