Happiest of Holidays and a Peaceful, Plentiful, and Healthy New Year to all!

Holiday seasons are always festive and fun but can also hold a twinge of sadness for all those who are gone or who are lost. Remember to be kind to folks and to find ways to include people who might otherwise not have a way to feel a part of the holidays.

Remember that these are all festivals of the light. In ancient times, the Solstice was magic; the world got very dark and then slowly, with the festivals lighting up the night, the daylight started to come back. From the ancient rituals came Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and other festivals that give us faith and hope that the New Year will come.

An Opportunity to Intern with PACT and AACT

Clinical Intern:

The Clinical Intern will be responsible for providing clinical services to clients and associates of PACT and AACT. Responsibilities also include providing planning for, coordinating, and participating in training/events.  The Intern will report to the CEO.

Adoption Consultations with Dr. Joyce Maguire Pavao

• Are you an adopted person?
• Are you an adoptive parent or considering being one?
• Are you a parent by birth, who placed a child for adoption?
• Are you part of or connected to a complex blended family?
• Are you a professional (lawyer, social worker, educator, pediatrician, psychologist, etc) who works with a member of the adoption triad?

Adopted can refer to legal adoption or to emotional adoption through fostering, step parenting, alternative reproductive technology choices, kinship, or guardianship.

Call for an intake and to schedule a session while Dr. Joyce Maguire Pavao is in New York City on February 6, 2015.

Dr. Pavao has several openings for appointments before her workshop, A Little Day About Adoption, on February 7, 2015.

Dr. Pavao is also available regularly for consultations at her office in Cambridge, MA.
