   E-newsletter | November 12, 2014

From the Publisher:

As we edge closer to the holiday season our weather throughout the country is seeing some massive changes.

A front that originated in Alaska, swept across parts of Canada, then dipped into the Midwest is next expected to charge South.

Wow!

We always say that our winter visitors are welcomed but you can leave the weather at home.

The good news is generally the cold fronts last only long enough for us to reluctantly add socks to our feet and put aside our flip flops for a few days.

Some of you will head south soon or even already are here while others spend the holidays with family and head down January 1.

In either case, we are always glad you are here! Our Holiday print edition will be distributed Thanksgiving week along the northern Gulf Coast. Next edition of this e-newsletter we will link to some of the many places you can pick up a copy.

Holiday Dishes: Do you have a favorite casserole, dessert or holiday dish you like to bring to Snowbird or family functions? Is so we'd love for you to share your recipe! Send information to: publisher@snowbirdsgulfcoast.com and in the subject line put Holiday Dish. We will be publishing a few of these in print and online. If you have a photo to submit, that would be great. Also, briefly describe how you found the recipe (family, friends, magazine, original, etc.) and why people seem to like it so much!
