The weekend is almost here--are you wondering how in the world to spend your Friday night?
Children's Ministries warmly invites you to join us for the culmination of our MAD (Music & Drama) Camp tonight, August 2, 7:30pm.
You'll be drawn into the life of Moses through the campers songs, dances and conversations in a musical theater presentation called, "Are We There Yet?" Come enjoy the show and see what is good about our children.
No Sunday School for children ages rising 1st-6th grade, Aug 4-Sept 8. Children are invited to attend service with their families during this time. Regular Sunday School begins September 15. Register for Fall Sunday School.
Children's Ministries is currently recruiting volunteers to help with 2013-14 Sunday School. We especially need volunteers to help with classes at 11am. |

Growing Your Soul is designed to deepen your communion with God, with a small group of fellow pilgrims and with one particular spiritual companion of your choice. Music Happenings

Youth Choir & Orchestra Annual Workshop: Saturday, August 24, 9am-12pm in the Sanctuary. It will be a time to reconnect with old friends, make new friends and praise God through music while preparing to lead worship on Sunday morning, August 25, at all three services. VPC would like to thank Anna Whiston-Donaldson for her 4 years of dedicated service as Grapevine Bookstore Manager. Anna's love for God, love for people, and love for books have been such a blessing to our church. We are grateful for her willingness to serve in a more limited capacity until a new bookstore manager is hired and trained.
As many of you know Barry Hill concludes his minitry here at VPC after serving 7 years in Student Ministries. Join us in saying "good by" on Sunday, September 1 in the Underground following the 11am service.

Bookstore Manager: VPC seeks an individual to serve as a bookstore manager to support the mission and ministry of the church by fulfilling the mission of Grapevine Books to "connect books to people, people to Jesus, Jesus to the world...one page at a time." This is a permanent, 15-20 hour-per-week, non-exempt position. Responsibilities include the overall management of the bookstore, inventory, sales, volunteers and finances.
