The Art of Neighboring: The Golden Rule for Our Lives!

Jesus said to love our neighbors as ourselves. What does that look like in our busy lives?

 

Take the time to explore what it can mean in one of two groups for women that will be reading Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon's The Art of Neighboring.  Read more.


Are you a college student or young adult who is looking to hang out with your friends, have fun, worship the Lord, and build community?

Come check out our Wednesday Night Worship Service this summer at VPC, and get to know other people your age who are also curious about their faith, and want to learn more about God.


Graduating High School Seniors are welcome as well, before they go off to college in the fall!  7 - 8:30pm, Great Hall.


VPC's Child and Youth Protection Committee invites you to join them for an evening with Jim Pope, Appeals Officer for Fairfax County's Child Protective Services.  Monday, June 17 2013, from 6:00 to 7:15 pm in Room 203. 

 

The presentation will explain the role of Child Protective Services, how to recognize signs of child abuse and neglect, and what to do about it.  Pizza will be served from 5:30 to 6:00 pm.  Please RSVP to Amy Feather at amy.feather@verizon.net by June 8.  Revised VPC Child Protection Policy.


What's going on for kids this summer?            

VBS is coming July 8-12 and we need shepherds and shepherd assistants.  Drivers and group leaders needed for Children's Mission Week, July 22-26 and Music & Drama Camp July 29 -Aug 2.  To volunteer, email karen.covell@viennapres.org.
