New Hope International Partners Visit VPC
On April 14, a contingent of New Hope International Missionaries will attend worship, Sunday schools, and an after service luncheon/forum in the Great Hall from 12:30-2pm. Come hear their stories of their work throughout eastern Europe - from orphan care to strengthening Christian familys and marriages. Special guest, Elisa Levitz Cafferky, Security Advisor for Coverity will describe her spiritual journey and explain how she has been able to find strength and peace in the midst of pressure, setbacks, doubt and tragedy. Renewing Prayer is a transformational ministry in which a trained prayer minister comes alongside another to invite Christ's peace and renewal where life may have brought emotional scars and pain.

Ascension Day Service of Healing and Wholeness The Easter season is a time for us to rejoice and continue to celebrate Christ's victory over sin and death. But it is also a time to name the ways we too are waiting for God to intervene in our lives to bring healing, insight, wisdom, discernment, or direction.
Join us for an Ascension Day Service for Wholeness and Healing on Thursday, May 9, 7:30pm in the Sanctuary. Join the Prayer Ministry Team and the Chancel Choir as we remember this pivotal moment in history and worship the risen and ascended Christ.
Following the service, there will be an opportunity to be anointed with oil and to receive prayer for healing in mind, body, or soul. |
