This is a good month. It is fairly levitous in comparison to previous months. The heavyweights are still in tight tandem but we are liberated with a larger perspective so we are using their energies in a new and progressive way. There will be ascensionary shifts.

We are re-establishing ourselves in real time, in the now, and building something constructive out of havoc. There are great bursts of energy and enthusiasm, spectacular transitioning, infectious optimism and a sense that abundance is possible. We will devise winning strategies. There will be breakthroughs and breakaways.

We have the opportunity to learn how to care for all that lives. We need to be careful not to see just what we want to see. We will be aware of the sensation that things are falling apart while the rational mind realises they are actually coming together. Release the subjective and invite the universal; tough love really works. There is high energy and karmic magnetic attraction that will draw us to what we are meant to do, what we need and what we resonate with.

It is wise to be cautious with the inclination to be stubborn when under the influence of Taurean energy however the Solar Eclipse will help to diffuse that condition. Road rage alerts do remain in effect until the end of the month. It is also wise to stay away from neighbourhoods where crime occurs. The unevolved that walk the earth use these energies differently and the innocent get caught in the crossfire.

Spring will start in earnest in the rest of the country. More activity comes to all of us from being able to be outdoors. Positive and expansive energies will flow through mind, body and spirit and touch the deepest core of our self where faith hope and optimism can be lodged. By the end of the month, Mars resumes direct motion so we can take off the brakes and resume our full throttle forward movement. Tally Ho!

19^TH The Sun is in Taurus ~ Happy Birthday to all Taureans! We awaken to our love for nature which stimulates our creative side. Our tactile senses are enhanced. Enjoyment comes through the arts, music, fine foods, warm bubble baths, natural things and physical contact. Pleasure comes from the familiar. We take things slow, we are more methodical. We create routines that help us to follow things through to completion. Strength, tenacity, endurance, perseverance, stamina and patience come more easily with the vibrations of the Sun in Taurus. Loyalty's importance is better understood. We can no longer hang onto the jittery edge of broken promises, abuse, rejection or betrayal. Anything less than true loyalty is unacceptable in situations that matter. We get on with hard work, we pick up where we left off with projects and we are motivated to achieve. Security mindedness motivates more of a positive response in terms of long term or longevity. We enjoy the finer things of life; not just the things that cost money.

20^TH Happy Easter!

Remember how the rug was pulled out from under us in February? Remember how it caused so much chaos and turbulence? Well now we get to find out the purpose for all of that. Even if someone thought they had snafued us into circumstances we did not create for ourselves; a rewarding and successful and maybe surprise end result can come of it. We turn the shock around to a fortuitous end. We earn grace for the things done to us with intention. We can shed the burdens of finding blame, being in conflict and consumed by disagreement. Liberated; life can take a welcome detour. Long hard-fought struggles are successfully realised. Take this opportunity to let the mind open wider to take in the wisdom that is found by stretching beyond our comfort zone. This is a time of possibilities. Positive life changing events have changed our perspective and now we are verifying our new ideas, perceptions and truths by our actions. Yeah team we are moving forward.

We enlarge our perspective; we are able to encompass group goals. Although we are still in full fledge metamorphosis there is less pressure so we are free to find our comfort zone within it. Magnetic attraction draws us to pay attention to others; our neighbours, community, province or state, nation and our global partners. We are looking outside ourselves while we continue to fathom our deepest subconscious and this links us to what we resonate with. These combinations give us hope for the amalgamation of the extended family. Strong subconscious messages, thoughts upon awakening or dreams remembered from our sleep, provide a wealth of insight. We are gathering strength as we ponder our next quest. We are preparing to tackle what we think we cannot. Out in the marketplace of life these energies can stir up trouble in the ruthless, the righteous and those with strong political views. Individuals or groups can get into trouble with the law for their "power play". Mob mentality can coerce others to see things a certain way.

21^ST We were going through a lot in 2010 so 2012 felt like a hit below the belt. Here we are again, playing with the same energies but on a higher morphic level. We are working with the havoc to validate ourselves. When energies of power and freedom combine it intensifies the dynamics of our psyche. We transform and grow. We do not feel as pushed, things are not threatening to become destructive and we only seem to be unravelling where we are conflicted. So the theoretical analysis of our best approach to any situation is progressive. There are elements of deconstruction or modernisation in this mix that can feel like things are still happening to us rather than because of us. Issues about power and freedom can be furthered by independent free thinking, expansive ideals and visions. Those who are not in tune can be intrusive, intense and want too much.

When two planets combine their influences in retrograde mode we know we are doing some inner work. Self-sufficiency, self-containment, self-authority and leadership in a context that is most sacred will be our objective. Residue of Father issues, or the affects of impersonal relationships, and other obstacles to our self-authority as well as whatever we struggle to understand will be worked on now. This is a time of personal inward focus so do not expect intimacy and closeness from others who may also be processing inner stuff. Inwardly we are all moving beyond certain traditions, accepted beliefs and paradigms of the past as we integrate into the now. New levels of mastery can be reached if we try to be the best role model of what we believe in and in the process help to teach others by example.

22^ND The Moon reaches the third quarter.The sun-moon phase angle is winding down and this is a critical point in our affairs. Will they make it or not? This is what we find out. Much depends upon our relationship with others and our standing in society, community or job. It takes nerves of steel to face critical decisions however based on our past history we have a firm footing. There can be unforeseen expenses due to breakdown or objects wearing out. Not getting enough sleep, under too much stress and forgetting to eat properly will take its toll. Mostly we will find out how we can get going on a new task, direction or quest. We are empowered and tolerant of others but we tend to keep to ourselves rather than reach out to others.

The influx of infectious optimism we will begin to receive needs to be balanced with judgement. A sense of urgency quelled into effective action. The positive application of these energies is to correct mistakes made in the past; to learn from excessive freewill or subjective egocentricities. We are perched in a position of initiating progress and expansion and need a level head to keep things in perspective. Spring is a good time to do a body, liver or bowel cleanse and now is a good time to take a blood booster.

With an egocentric inclination however these very strong and self-serving energies provoke opinions and actions that overstep acceptable boundaries. Increased competitiveness and a revved up desire nature mixed with high excitement has the potential to create ruthlessness, over-glorification of the ego or exhaustion because we expend ourselves beyond our self. We are easily frustrated, doubt ourselves, expect failure, and are too proud, defiant or destructive when the desire nature overwhelms the ego.

23^RD We need scope for potential. This is an opportunity to act on or initiate new conditions; to be the agent of creative change and integrated consciousness. We can get beyond the subjective self-conscious self-serving favouritism that muddies the waters. Powerful energy is being released. Unrestrained high-strung energy is difficult to slow down. It can easily erupt into frustration and destructiveness or simply smoulder. Frictions between people are evident. So is escapism, restlessness, impulsiveness, irritability, arrogance, anti-establishment and anti-authority attitudes and wrathful anger. Avoid the desire to throw caution to the wind. This is a road-rage warning! Some people's fuse is quickened with great impatience. There is also defiance and boldness in the me-first attitude.

Mercury is primed, operating at optimum and greatly enhanced as it enters the sign of Taurus. Our thinking caps are working on all cylinders. We should be able to navigate the influences of this month well. We filter information, accept, discard or file the resource efficiently. Our spirit is lifted as our powers of perception are increased. We feel, sense, intuit, perceive as well as enjoy the increased taste buds and heightened sensory touch. Careful, unhurried, methodical thinking and acting leaves space for contingencies and alternatives. We can stick to things to get them done. We have more determination and common sense. We whistle while we work.

We can have no doubt about what is not working. These vibrations are good for cleansing, purging and revealing the flaws. The purpose is renewal. We are urged to move along by strong transformative energies but we are not under pressure. We are highly charged, ambitious, desirous and assertive. We are busy sifting through subconscious information. It can be the accompanying strong sexual energies that are self-absorbing due to frustration that needs to find an outlet. At this fork in the road magnetic attraction links us to our desire or our destiny. We are drawn by what we resonate with.  Ceaseless activity encourages us along our path. We are doing important work. Our efforts will bring greater eventual control. Try not to give into lower vibrational expressions.

Those who have strong psychological powers and an ambitious ego will tend to over dramatise and exaggerate. This is another form of self-destruct. 25^TH This Balsamic Phase of the Sun ~ Moon cycle leads up to the Solar Eclipse so it packs a powerful influence for setting intentions. Comfortable in the womb of creation we are focused on following our purpose. This means we are contemplating change that may require breaking contracts with the self or agreements with the cosmos that we no longer feel we resonate with. They can be contracts and agreements in real time too. We need to be free of dysfunction and we are willing to set our own course. The subconscious longs for the freedom of self-fulfilment. We set our goals to achieve as much as we can. Do not take on too much, it is the temptation but we can overload ourselves with what we must do to be who we want to be.

26^TH  Juno is entering Taurus and is going to shake things up big time in this earth sign. This takes us back to 2010 again, the last time Juno roamed these territories, which is the root of many of the issues we now face. Her main concern is relationship or partnership. We are seeking stability and groundedness. Malcontent about money, assets or other insecurities about needs is possible. Focus on materialism puts out the intimate spark of romantic relations. Nagging and complaining or fear of abandonment can create stormy relations. We demand equality, loyalty, dependability, reliability and steadiness from other people according to our own terms. This will not affect relations with people suited to us; they will be there for us to listen, touch or cuddle if needed. We turn away from people who are not co-responsible and cannot appreciate the finer things of life. We still appreciate the artist.

28^TH We need to know how to take care of ourselves. Sensitivity, nurturance and spirituality combine in such as way as to help us sort out the real from the imaginary. It is clarifying to be passionate about what we care about.  We experience deep soul recognition. We are sensitive to the karmic ties between us and others.

This is an awkward stage of growth as we are needy and our ideals are being reordered to get back to our natural essence. Issues of separation or the need for sacrifice are catalysts of the eventual. Growth comes through the imagination, through surrender and letting go. Fantasy and artistic expression is nurturing something that needs to be validated. Lifestyle change comes with new spiritual beliefs.

On the down side we can victimise ourselves with sympathy. We can upset our digestion. We can drain ourselves by taking care of needy people who are void and cannot be filled up with our care. People escape their reality by tapping into another person to validate their escape. Others use alcohol or drugs and various other mechanisms. Do not opt out face things square on.

We experience a Solar Annual Eclipse while the Sun and Moon are forming the New Moon phase in Taurus. It is powerfully individualising and supports our self-realisation. When something is eclipsed it is forever changed. If this directly affects us our image of who we are and who we can become will be updated. We need to trust the process of life. It will direct us to where we need to go. All we need to do is listen.

People will be on the move. Some will want to change their homeland others just want to travel and get away from home. We want a change of scene and this solar eclipsed new moon is likely to provide the circumstances that bring what we want or what we deserve. Illusion, fantasy and idealism aside, we need to be real inside and out and we will do whatever necessary to make it so.

29^TH It is not easy to make decisions. There is a lot being stirred up in the dungeon of the subconscious. Fulfilling the expectations of others is the hook that can snag us. We are easily drawn back into the edicts of parents, society and authority. The catacombs of conformity, like the womb, can lull us into complacency. As soon as we stick our head out of the mould we get hit with a cross-current of too many opinions which stalls us into indecision. We are not docile in this state; more likely frustrated and flustered. We need separation from whomever or whatever pulls our puppet strings. The autopilot of our habitual responses will interfere with our ability to individuate, think outside the box or evolve toward our destiny.

This combination of energies is supposed to help us figure out how to win, not beat others, just let everyone one. It is the energy of activism. Those who are self-serving throw a monkey wrench into the mix. That is exhausting and frustrating to those who are trying to reach mutual accord. The who, what and how of where we are blocked is more obvious so that helps. We can do something about it. We also come face to face with the cracks in our logic which is clarifying. We have lots of inner strength and courage we just need to stay away from too much defiance or pride and other self-destructive behaviour. The events of this time prove our methods need improving. This is very masculine energy. We mask our vulnerability, inhibition or inadequacy with anger, argument and sexual frustration.

1^st Happy May Day!

2^ND Venus crosses the cusp of Aries and enters into the domain of Spring. Let the flowers begin. Venus in Aries exudes a childlike innocence that is so precious, treasurable and cherishable yet very bold, lustful and ambitious.  Starting out once again around the wheel of life she reminds us that "We must become the change we wish to see." {Mahatma Gandhi} Venus joins in on the rights of spring activating our powers of attraction. Creating reality with Venus takes holding the mental space of no-thing and then adding the thoughts and ideas. When fully formed these intentional creations are charged with emotion which sparks manifestation.

Not only can we draw to us what we intend but we can initiate new relationships as well. Impulsive and curious we become more experimental and casual. We can use these high power vibrations to change our mind's vibration and clear subconscious debris or create an inner peaceful space for any outward conflict that is being experienced. Keep tending this peacefulness by holding the belief in the mind. This is alpha energy; the pace of life picks up.

The Moon is cresting ahead of the Sun just enough to capture a sickle of light. We always find this most attractive whether we know it is the phase of promise or not. The message is about moving on, putting the past behind, in fact purging and disconnecting from its thought forms so we can be free. Do not doubt the vision of what is yet to come until this cleansing program is complete. Fluctuations in energy and possibly weather could create unstable immunity and the likelihood of seasonal illness. We need to be particularly careful about germs and viruses. New plans and directions are exciting. Our thoughts can roam freely over ideas and ways of creating them in real time. There is careful activity in the economy.

6^TH When the Moon is lit halfway we have reached our first critical milestone of the month. Challenges to what we hope to achieve are only learning curves to be accomplished. The First Quarter Moon is bold and stubborn which can shove a wedge between us and our goal. Confusion and broken promises get in the way. They may only be shadows of what happened in the past but they impair progress with increasing our knowledge. Steer around them; they are only a mirage of human nature's stages of evolution. "There are as many incarnations as pathways to them" as I say on my web site. See this in the many states of being that can be witnessed in others. Sometimes we need to move forward recognising other people's inability to be where we are just yet. Sometimes we have to leave people behind. What is important is that we reach our individual gateways of becoming and do not hesitate to walk through them.

7^TH When Mercury is in Gemini it gives us the opportunity to use our mind to its fullest ability. Reasoning power is strong and curiosity intense. The mind is made more quick, diversified, versatile and full of ideas. We are urged to communicate and disseminate information more freely. It is fun to debate viewpoint and opinion; even argue or make a point. We skim the surface of a broad number of subjects and interests. There will be lively and far-ranging conversations about what's going on in the world. We enjoy wordplays, puns and negotiations.

This is not focused energy; it is easily distracted. We are prone to attempting simultaneous involvements. This means we will do so broadly and shallowly. We will think about the many projects and tasks we would like to get on with. We gather information about them. The mind wants to be active; studying, reading, researching and exchanging with others. Write letters emails and journal entries, start a writing project, make short trips, get together with friends, or take a course to brighten the mind. With whatever idealised version of what we see of others, we create our own disappointment. The true basis for relationship can be disillusioning. We want to save people; we have great compassion for the victim, great sympathy for the downtrodden and pity for the lost soul.

This is not the best of vibrations for marriage. We could make a mistake. The problem is no sooner than we do make that mistake of judgement we see beyond the surface appearance of things. We can identify masked feelings and secrecy. It is an awakening. Those who feign, connive, take advantage of others or spin a web of confusion around people to manipulate them can get caught in their lie.

In the background of our psyche we can feel like things are becoming unglued. It is true that they unravel and come apart but the purpose is to reveal what is usually hidden. The questions we ponder can uncover the unforeseen and unpleasant which slowly seeps into our conscious awareness. It is timely as we have the power to transform reality, our deep urges and our inner conflicts. Blockages are released without pressure. We peacefully re-identify, replace, renew, rephrase and redo. We address any areas of powerlessness unveiling the motivation and behaviour behind the pattern. We reduce the profound to its superficiality. We see how our psychological obsessions or fixations manipulate and dominate if we let them.

It is important to deal with loans and their payments. There is potential for mass movements to be sparked by current events. To be safe avoid the criminal element and their environments.

10^TH The Moon's reflection is yawning toward full, this is the Gibbous Phase where things meld together. There is an abundance of new material or new information available, there are updated definitions and urban context; we notice how vernacular is changing rapidly. We change our relationship to things we have always known by reconstructing our understandings and cross referencing our memories in a new way. There are vast changes occurring almost every day. During this phase we will experience how these are affecting our friends and others we care about at a distance. People are beginning to talk about their inner shifts and plans of change. The number of disasters and catastrophes is not unexpected; there is a massive shift of souls being experienced over recent years. Having strong beliefs about continuance, spirit survival and reincarnation I can process these events in a different dimension. We are all learning to process our information in new dimensions.

11^TH Happy Mother's Day!

12^TH The idea of tough love resurfaces for a worthy cause. We are having trouble gaining cooperation and feel very stuck. It is necessary to redefine and restructure a more disciplined approach. We develop better rules, guidelines and organisation by learning from our mistakes. Children feel loved when they get the guidance and support of discipline, it builds confidence. Our method of nurturing has to be solid, consistent and realistic to be effective. Parents need to love themselves by creating better environments in which to love others. We need to strengthen family support systems and emotional bonds. A change of approach will work things out.

If we do everything for our children and give everything to our children they will have trouble discovering their own strengths and will experience confusion in discerning true value. We need to be tough with ourselves about the childhood issues that act up too. The image of Mother can be rectified in our mind. We address whatever we have had to sacrifice and deal with any residual fears of abandonment. Being protected and cared for is as important as protecting and caring for the ones we love. We need to find that balance.

There is a self-centred turn to attractions that are formed now. Relations with unavailable people are formed from this elusive energy. Magnetic attraction draws us to the free spirited individual with an untamed dynamic. In general, commitment, partnership, marriage is questioned. On this subject, our ideals can mess us up.

These vibrations are also about sexual performance. This exploration of our smouldering desires takes us to a growth spurt that will deal with whatever afflicts us. Dealing with these inner conflicts can cause a divergence from our constructive usefulness. We can be perturbed about our upbringing.

Moods swing between dominating aggression and subjugated sensitivity when looking for level ground. The people we find ourselves working or involved with share no affinity with us. We rediscover disconnected, buried and rejected parts of ourselves. We restore hope, peace and harmony into life and relationships. There is greater compassion and generosity.

We are in touch with the deepest core of self where faith, hope and optimism can be lodged. The path of purpose wins out over our own point of view. We surrender to the reality that our personal philosophy is not the only valid truth. Our integrity is at stake in our self-development. We need to be inclusive, holistic and open to the cross-spectrum of social and cultural formats. The ability to get a lot accomplished can cause us to over-commit to more. Sexuality is spiritualized; we face our sexual fears or any overemphasis of sexual prowess.

We need to face the facts, take responsibility and strengthen our ethics; let go of disparate beliefs to bring harmony. Cultivate tolerance of other people's beliefs to reach satisfactory resolutions. Our continued healing and awakening will move us beyond the standards of our status quo. Gaining greater clarity we identify with our true spirit and strengthen it. We make many adjustments and revisions due to our growth and expansion. This is incompatible to those close to us who want to keep us as we are. Get things done while it can be done. We must look after our own wholesomeness; it will be okay with time.

The Full Moon illuminates the night sky. We have control over our emotions even though they are very deep and embroiled. We spend too much money.  Release comes through social entertainments, group gatherings and friendship circles. If we drink we may drink too much and be more gregarious or novel than usual. There is some promiscuity to this energy but it is out in the open not secretive. I say this because there is also some unhealthy suspicion and misplaced jealousy. Spend time doing healthy activities together to remedy this.

15^TH We release the subjective and reach out to the universal. To reduce stress and nervousness we get in tune with our transitory times. With more objectivity we can think differently and come up with better solutions. We find it easier to pick our battles, be selective about what we rise to and we can turn off knee-jerk responses. Predisposition and automatic impulse are aligned with higher channels of mental astuteness; we get smarter. Compromise will work; it will resolve tension and dichotomy. All our reference points are changing. We are being updated to the 21st century, the first century of the third millennium.

16^TH Pallas Athena changes sign. Moving into Virgo where it accentuates analytical perception. We can see the essence of things in their simplest forms. We can sift away the superficial complications of life. We seek perfection and high quality through the wisdom of discrimination. Being more detailed in our work we produce a high quality product. The welfare of all is priority after which come preference and individualism. Aesthetic integrity, detailed craftsmanship and practical creativity {pottery, woodworking, sewing, computer programming} are stimulated. We are healed by purifying the body, eating good food and exercise.

17^TH We may feel betrayed by the information that is shared about us during the Disseminating phase of the Moon. It really is not that others meant to gossip or share our private information; they just got carried away and misspoke. No one needed to coerce the information out of them; it was volunteered enthusiastically and without caution. There was an assumption made that other people were as goodhearted and honest as them. No intentional outcome was generated. Perhaps a vague reference is misconstrued or judgement is passed on a third party quip, it does not take much to cause people's character to be undermined. We should handle the information about others as carefully as we would want others to handle information about ourselves.

19^TH Happy Victoria Day!

We are sifting through our psyche reconstructing relationship role models and gender typing. We are freely building new paradigms. We are drawn by what resonates with us. Marriage, partnership and other commitment relationship find new avenues of personal expression and greater individual and thereby mutual fulfilment. If single, volcanic combustible attraction could draw in intense, secretive or powerful types. We do seek passion and depth in relations. Nevertheless magnetic attraction links us to what is meant to unfold. Combined with the powers of another we can be a force to be reckoned with. This can be social, financial or another type of power.  

Mars is stationing direct. We get our energy back. We can make things happen. We are less hesitant. We are brave, courageous and assertive. We initiate with fortitude and certainty. It is questionable whether we know which direction to take; we have more pisaz than priority. As we get our feet back on the ground we will find that we make better use of our energy and powers of assertion. Some degree of reformation has occurred and its processes will be ongoing through till July. We feel rejuvenated by the change of state.
