18^TH The Sun has entered Pisces bringing abundant wishes for a jolly birthday for all Pisceans. Along with it come the best of all wishes for an extraordinary year ahead.This is the dreaming season. Pisces represents the spiritual letting go of ego and fixed or rigid individuality. At this time we can answer the call to evolve through furthered levels of evolutionary existence. During our journey through Pisces we have the opportunity to let go of everything we have attached to ourselves. It is time to dissolve, drift and allow. This watery zone takes us through selflessness and unlimited emotional or intangible experience. We perform our prerequisites to gain entrance into a less personal realm of understanding.

In March the days will grow longer but for now the late winter light is weak and flat under cloudy skies. Weather is normally changeable, unreliable and tempestuous. To affirm life's continuance we get to see the first delicate late-winter flowers. These are tantalising glimpses that bring supreme delight. Winter winds and watery storms blow through budding trees and bushes while tender saplings take root. Pisces is given to causing us to be irrational and empathetic, mystical and elusive, faithful and empathetic, sensitive and illusionary, and it fantasizes or gives into hopelessness. The scales of the fish represent the only protection surrounding Piscean vulnerability, it is understandable that we may experience difficulty with personal boundaries. Ultimately our time in Pisces can provide mystical perception and dreamlike poetic introspection.

Nonetheless we have very important decisions to make in the process of rethinking our concepts, strategies and plans. So do we surrender passively to the spiritual influences converging on us or do we become active with social awareness. This dualistic polarity can work itself out in a few ways; within the social arena, within our significant relationship, or within us. We are driven to participate in or back out of activities that shape our social, political, financial, and entertainment worlds. We must be aware of delusion, illusion or falling under the influence of blind faith. Then we have the clear analytical perception that can see the essence of things in their simplest of forms. This gives us the ability to separate them from their surrounding superfluous complications. If we arrive at this state we can devise practical solutions and avoid pitfalls of imagination.

A balance of intellect and intuition opens a lot of doorways but we also need to question whether our own beliefs and possible illusions are in the way. Immunity is extremely low, boost the protective shield and bolster the defences. In the right state our perception can be divinely inspired and even more powerfully attuned to the needs of the moment on all dimensions. The wisdom of discrimination that is available now must not get lost in imagination. We have a distinctive feel for the invisible-intangible vibrations that pervade our material world but we can become star-struck with it or corrupt it by seeking celebrity status. A spiritual calling can occur

The Disseminating Moon is the moon phase that is slowly losing its light. All that we have gained; become within ourselves or are knowledgeable about we possess. This is symbolised in the Full phase. Now that fullness is spilling out, we are inclined to share what we have accumulated, we are disbursing. This is a friendly phase. It reflects a better general state which will be enjoyed by most of us. We take pleasure in sharing information with others whether it is personal or transcendental. With a firmly rooted balance we thoroughly enjoy most everything. Our fears are put to rest and our values are not clamouring for top rung. Open and inviting we absorb much more and have no counteractions. We feel grounded and more secure. We warm to other people and influence by simply being ourselves. 

21^ST We are at odds in our thinking processes and communications. We are not synchronised. Interruptions, missing details, faults, flaws and other interferences intrude on accomplishment. It is not our fault, things just happen. This jumbled faltering is stressful and it can lead us to doubt. Details we have missed come up to be done. That also undermines our assurance and confidence. Things do not turn out well. We do not do what we thought we were going to do. Retreat is not necessary but a time out before acting helps. Quiet time will develop better choices. Meditation is beneficial. Dreams, instincts or intuitions convey deep truths.

22^ND The Last Quarter Moon is a mystical experience. We are invited to look beyond the veil of appearances. Illusions are replaced with inspirations and we turn away from degenerative practices to cultivate the creative. We put our energies and attentions into matters that will bring positive results. Immunity is sustained by a good diet, regular exercise and changed sleep patterns. We let go of people and things that are not good for us. We are optimistic and constructive. The cracks in the integrity of government or law will be wide enough to see through them. We are drawn to groups of like minded people and may be attracted to take part in a cause or charity.

25^TH We are opening doors that we are ready to walk through. Our inner core is healed and profoundly empowered. Transformation peaks as unspoken, hidden, unseen or restrained forces make what we want and need happen. We have domain over our weaker side. It is less easy to gang-up, bully or victimise people into fearful helplessness. We can claim our wholeness and release that which grieves us. Our consciousness engineers a bridge between dimensional distortions and a bypass for destructive emotions. We own more of our authentic self and find healthier ways to express our power. Core work is very productive, we flush out and open up using dualism constructively.

This Balsamic Moon is transcendental. We can really manifest our reality with this phase. It is very creative, productive and full of opportunity. Vision boards, dreams and intentional vigilance will produce practical results through intangible means. There are some serious communications, letters of instruction, Dear John communiqués or notes from a child's teacher and on a happier note, news from people we have not heard from in a long while. Old friends can get in touch. Success can come to financial ventures. Relationships experience a breakthrough and healing. Real estate issues can surface. Tend to any house repairs in a timely way, they will get worse.

Could it be the rug gets pulled from under us, life takes a detour, there is an unwelcome surprise or new information undermines successful culmination? On the other hand can it be more rewarding, fortuitous and enlightening? We could realise the results of a long fought struggle which is finally being successfully realised. Another possibility is a shock, an unforeseen unexpected turn and unpredictable circumstances. Just as we think we have it all figured out. If this is the way it happens to us then the purpose will be to open our mind just a little wider, to let go of blame, conflict, and disagreement and to see an alternative we were blind to.

We need to liberate our wisdom by stretching beyond the comfort zone of familiarity. Positive life changing events come from all we have learned about life, how we have changed our perspective and how much personal responsibility we support by our actions. New ideas, perceptions and truths expand our worldview and free our mind. We are less likely to cling to our subjective truth. It is not the base for our decisions and can no longer guide our lives as we realistically know there are many possibilities and no absolutes.  This is a time of possibilities no matter what is happening.

26^TH  Our self-realisation can hit a snag if we are pulled back to what we were brought up to believe. Our progress can also be withheld because of our attachment to the unattainable. Problems can arise because we cooperate with the insensitivities of others instead of assert ourselves in character. Paradox throws us into situations we have no particular affinity for. We need to be patient but indomitable and assertive not subjugated while fathoming what is in our best interests. Others will interfere with our ability to be ourselves until we notice our compliance is destructive to our growth and well-being. Necessity is the mother of invention and adjustment. Relationships go through an elusive period of questioning and feeling restricted but wanting commitment.

27^TH The whole concept of nurturing, care giving and mothering goes into limbo when Ceres turns retrograde. The fountain of sympathy, understanding and unconditional love that we give to everyone else needs to turn inward so we can learn to love ourselves better. In turn we will be better able to love others. We get passionately involved in what we really care about. There can be a desire to get back to the land, to garden, to grow food or to enjoy green space. A realisation that we need to let our children grow up free and not held back by parental controls changes the parent child relationship. Generally we are less dependent. For some with particularly difficult relationships with parents, especially Mother, issues about childhood act up to be worked out. Other issues that could come up deal with food, digestion, oral-gratification and feeling protected or taken-care-of. They are troublesome.

An opportunity for inner growth is a chance to refashion our integrity for greater harmony. We are processing new paradigms, strategies, hopes, expectations and emotions that will serve us better. The rational-intellectual side and the emotional side are working together toward a higher standard of quality. There is increased social awareness, intellectual development and acknowledgement of the need for self-sustaining independence. There is opportunity for growth, exchange and harmony in relations. Parents recognise the need to give their children room to grow, separate, individualise and come back together happier. Handled well these milestones can be celebrated. This is a good time to work on Father issues.

28^TH Mercury halts on its backwards journey, turns around and resumes direct motion. We will retrace steps we have taken twice before, so third time lucky. We wear our emotions on our sleeve in a dispassionate way. A bit befuddled but ready to gain greater clarity. We get a second chance, an opportunity to do something over in a better way. Our ears are open; we are listening and willing to comprehend another's way. Alternative possibilities cause us to mull over our plans. We are more objective and able to weave higher understandings out of our experiences. At the same time we are eager and therefore somewhat impulsive.

The New Moon in Pisces is fragile, sensitive and seeking wholesomeness. Memories surround, embrace, penetrate and possess us. We cannot get away from ourselves. It is very possible we will exaggerate and blow out of all proportion any negative thoughts we have about our worthiness. No one will want to endure the rancour of such mental scripts. We can get stuck in an emotional gear and hurt ourselves by delving too deep into depressive states. Handled in a refined and articulate manner we can elevate our spirit, refresh our sense of self and boost our energy field by empowering our self worth in a healthy way.

March 1^st Mars is stationing for a few days, staying on one spot and not moving while it gets ready to go backwards. These days of standing still can be very hard to bear. Mars when retrograde is not fun and there is more to be concerned about than favourable, constructive or conciliatory and useful. There are some who will have fun with Mars retrograde but they have no care or concern and are probably very self-serving. Generally we are held back or experience a delay. Everything we try to do feels ineffective. Easily frustrated we can doubt ourselves and expect failure. It is more likely we will restrain or suppress our energies for one reason or another. Forms of self-destructive behaviour can manifest. Too much pride, defiance or overt bravery gets us into trouble. Some of us can take on a human project we strive to reform or a DIY renovation project that is over our heads. Desires smoulder half lit, we do not rise to competition and we lack the bravery and courage necessary to take bold actions. There is more staying power simply because we lack the impulse to act. Immunity was low and gets lower under Mars retrograde. We need to boost the blood.

Vesta is stationing for the same few days as Mars also getting ready to retrograde. This is intense as Saturn will be doing the same. A stationing Vesta cuts to the core of the deepest self where we need to face the facts. This is a very spiritual planet so we will be drawn toward our pathway of purpose but we have to take responsibility for where we have taken the path of least resistance. What will be produced is a lot of self-development as our work ethic becomes internalised. Our integrity is of greater importance and we will get clarity as we check ourselves over with a fine tooth comb. Faith and truthfulness become more important commodities. We come to know our true spirit and hopefully we honour it. This means we will strengthen our firewall. We get a chance to attend to any backlog of errands, chores and jobs that have been accumulating.

2^ND Saturn is now stationing, standing still and not moving. That makes three planets in all grinding to a halt and going nowhere for a few days. This calls my attention to how March comes in this year because I've already looked at what it is like when it goes out! Beware of the wolf in lamb's clothing. We will feel very stuck, limited, restricted or even rejected during Saturn's stillness. The main function of the retrograde is to help us to let go of our attachments. We will redefine, restructure, develop better methods, rules or guidelines and improve organisation. We learn from our mistakes and form better judgement. We turn things inside out to get to the core of the matter. Also we recheck the fortress that is built around us, the walls we create to protect ourselves and we review the physical and psychological supports of life. We build self-authority, take on more responsibility, leave situations, renegotiate frustration and renew investments. It is all very constructive but there is a karmic side to Saturn.

3^RD Both Mars and Vesta are now moving retrograde but Saturn is still stationing or standing still. Guilt is a powerful influence when it comes to bargaining power. It works best in marriage or with children but can be applied in many situations. If in dire straits; applying guilt can stretch the fine fabric of possibilities to get us to the finish line on time. But do not take guilt out on others. None of us are feeling compatible; most of us feel like fish flapping out of water. There is increased emotional distance and an absence of warmth or intimacy. It is best if we do not get personal, take things personal or get in too much of a quandary over getting people to commit themselves. Entanglement in paradox, dilemma, conundrum or compromise requires constant adjustment, processing, assimilating and growing. We are drawn to things we are not compatible with.

Juno will leave self-sacrificing Pisces alone and move into confrontational Aires. However we are paired with others we will need plenty of autonomous independent freedom. This is an assertive and fiery energy field so by keeping active we direct our energies and avoid stressing out. We take things on. Stepping up to a challenge we will assert ourselves competitively. This is an aggressive zone so when something gets in our way we can react with outburst or anger. Fighting comes too easily; we want to slug it out. Those who internalise this reaction end up with migraine headaches. We want other people to be enthusiastic about our quests and adventures but they are probably busy pursuing theirs. If a relationship is a team there will be less misadventure. The dominant person within a relationship will become evident. The submissive person should take note so that they pursue their own needs and experiences and be sure to follow their own path.

Saturn finally slips into retrograde gear so it will become less intense but not before the last straw kind of conflict occurs because of people who manipulate, twist, bend, fold, mutilate and staple the hopes of others. This can be a real problem in extended families where there are Father Complexes, immature ideals or maladjusted children and stepchildren. The conflicts make it impossible to realise anything. Issues of equality, reciprocity, fairness and respect embroil everyone in a conundrum of compromise. Abandonment is an option we contemplate if it is impossible to stretch into mutual understanding, congeniality and flexibility. If there is no chance of equity we cannot victimise ourselves in untenable situations.

4^TH The Crescent Moon is weak; it has lost its definition and is seeking answers. We are driven to discover what we need to know. Our judgement has faltered and we need to identify the truth. Attitudes are too personally driven, subjective and influenced in a one-sided way. We seem to have forgotten how to figure things out. It is difficult to find an alternative solution. Temporarily we have lost the ability to brainstorm on remedial levels. Perhaps it is an opportunity to get back to basics and reinvent the wheel.

5^TH Both Venus and Pallas Athena change signs today. Venus moves forward into Aquarius and Pallas Athena backs into the polar opposite sign Leo. It does not matter that they are out of range with each other; it is a phenomena in itself. Direct and having recaptured the distance she travelled in retrograde Venus is happy to depart Capricorn for Aquarius. It could, however, be the reason for many a contrary twist or turn in people's demeanour. Individualism comes to the forefront and any unconventional leanings too. How our mind and notion relates to things will flip around. We will want to think anything we did not think before rather than bore ourselves with the same old-same old. Social involvements and activities are sure to increase. It is easier to connect with people on a superficial level. Reserve is shaken lose in this sign. Although people are easier to connect with they are more distant, independent, indifferent and impersonal. So along with many alternatives and possibilities we struggle to integrate new awarenesses.

Pallas Athena retrograde and moving backwards is now unfortunately backing out of Virgo and occupying Leo once again. We get the opportunity to revisit ways in which we can impress our unique vision on the world. Stress reduction is best achieved through pleasure. It is good therapy. Things will be arranged and problems solved in dramatic, attention-getting ways. Creative perception and intelligence is radiant, generous and brilliant. Strategic negotiation in defence of honour, dignity and protection will gain the support of many. The creative impulse of Leo is meant to give birth to new forms, something we have passed over, missed or bottled up. With greater stamina and conviction we face the obstacle and making a valiant effort we find the confidence and courage we need to conquer the impediment.

What falls away gets out of the way of our creativity, intelligence and perceptual learning. Since we can access our deepest core of self to assimilate new information we can easily see what does not fit. We are drawn to things with purpose. A natural flow in self-development unravels conflict, entanglement and stalemate. Cultural and spiritual sensitivities are favoured. We link what is in our heart with what is in our head and detach from anything else. A greater sense of responsibility makes it easier to see where we need to make new plans and formulate new approaches.

These self-integrating energies are focused not only on the transmission of creative ideas but also on their actualisation. But we are highly resistant to disapproval, offensive behaviour or negative expectations. These things would put us off. We will not adjust if we do not fit. Our integrity is at stake. Father issues are worked on or even let go to strengthen ourselves. The different aspects of our being that are important to us are those that enrich and strengthen each other. Only the lower vibrational people will use these energies for living life like a chess game.

6^TH Jupiter is stationing now but unlike the others, it is getting ready to resume direct motion in a couple of days. Normally when a planet goes direct we are relieved to get going. With Jupiter we are relieved when it retrogrades. When it turns direct, or stations in its turnaround phase we can spin our wheels getting nowhere with things going every which way except as expected. Then when it does take its primary steps forward we are bound to trip over ourselves; blurt out the wrong thing, bump into walls and make lots of mistakes. Still, Jupiter turning direct is good. Opportunities are released and advantages are made possible. Our spirit is bolstered with optimism, positive enthusiasm, expansiveness, well being and good humour. With this new found source of independent aspiration we breakthrough, or break free. We move toward a sense of promise where success and good luck are possible. We have been searching for our inner truth, consciously or subconsciously and strengthening our personal faith, ideals and philosophical beliefs quietly within ourselves. Now it is time to move on, move forward and gain momentum.

But if we are feeling unloved, finding it hard to find sympathy and in a different book not just on a different page then problems seem to spring out of nowhere. We have to love ourselves, support ourselves and sympathise with ourselves because understanding is not coming from anywhere else right now. Issues from childhood can arise or problems between parents and definitely battles between parents and children. Old role models of parenting are dredged up for comparison to present day situations, out of place and out of time. Confronting them in a sense will decondition them but it is annoying to feel detoured without probable cause. Guilt, coercion, obligation, duty, expectation and control measures can disrupt family relations. The battle between conditional and unconditional love of children wages between parents of different background, beliefs or attitudes. Children feel guilty and responsible about their parents' marital problems. In some situations they are mere pawns in the bargaining negotiations.

8^TH Jupiter is no longer standing still, it is now moving forward. There will be too much energy blasting out all at once so control the tap.The First Quarter Moon should help to stop us from doing anything over the top. We are riding high and get called up short. Some can crash into themselves, others just hit a wall. For some of us we are stopped just in the nick of time before charging forward full blast. We can save ourselves from hurting ourselves before full throttle hurtles us through a time warp at breakneck speed. Thank goodness for intervention. It will make a positive difference. Which amusement park thrill ride can we conjure in mind to make the experience an event? Imagine being on that ride when the newly released waves of abundant energy rock us around. Life is a bit of an adventure so ride the wave.

12^TH Judgements do not hold up in the light of truth. Things become unglued; they unravel, come apart and reveal what is usually hidden. The indomitable people who prey on powerlessness make matters truly unpleasant. We are forced to rethink all of our strategies, planning and initiative because of the challenge presented by a hidden agenda. We uncover the unforeseen and superficial. Motivation and behaviour patterns are unveiled. We cannot build our dreams on these flaky foundations. Obsessions or fixations manipulate and dominate if we let them interfere. Deal with loans and their payments. Mass movements are sparked by current events. Avoid the criminal element. Boost the immune system, it is under attack. Back out of corrupt contracts or legal issues.

This Gibbous Phase is soft; it is not as congealing as it normally would be. We are a bit blindsided in the headlights of all that is before us.  It is necessary to gather our wits about us before we go off half-cocked. We may have more to prove than evidence to back it up. Blowing things out of proportion simply confuses the absorption of the facts. Maintain restraint, control and discipline reactions. Gain a sense of things and let the ideas settle before waging an all out effort. We are emotional and subjective so we are not using our wisdom to its best use.

13^TH We have recommitted our ideals and beliefs around what is left to us after disappointment or disillusionment swept away the unreal. We are building our new vision integrating our intuitions, empathies and imaginations in a new and more tangible way. Whatever we are committed to will receive our support in body, mind and soul. But we may again find ourselves too quick to over idealise, to see what we want and be blind to deception, feigned or masked feelings. We will, however, notice whatever renders our situation and relationships as unequal. Be very careful with financial or monetary transactions. To jump in and save people is the inclination but that can put us in the victim role. We need to have pity, compassion and sensitivity but we cannot get cast into the plot. Artistic, musical and theatrical vibrations are very high which makes such entertainments very enjoyable.

16^TH It is necessary to face the facts and take responsibility for how we have taken advantage of the path of least resistance. The results of either unpleasant or incurable events are winding down. We are learning from them and seeking a therapeutic solution. Our integrity is of great importance and someone can get under our skin and bore their way down into the core of our deepest self. We need to let things go. We need to let everything wash around us not through us. Be ethical in the face of corruption but know there will be no special treatment available. We do not feel satisfied by the results of this time but we need to play things down, they are only small details. If we become rattled we get thrown off track and lose our focus which puts us in risk. We want an abnormally vigilant response that is not forthcoming. Others want to go over things with a fine tooth comb. There is a great need to integrate disparate beliefs and there is no expert capable of the job. Be still; do not make a worse job of it.

The Full Moon illuminates everything we think is wrong and makes us anxious to put it right. But we are passive, lazy, subjective, whining, snivelling and complaining when clearly there is much to do to fix what is necessary. We can only take issue with ourselves; no one else is to blame for our current situation more than we are. It is easier to point to everyone and everything else but the common denominator is us. We will not get anywhere very quickly if we do not get a grip. See beyond the let down and if we cannot get into gear to recreate then vegetate. Do nothing to avoid making things worse. Everything that needs to be known comes to the surface. Chronic situations come to a head.

17^TH Happy St. Patrick's Day

Mercury, now direct, once again leaves Aquarius for Pisces. Remember this is a gullible position, a trusting energy field that is easily confused by its own imagination. This gives some of us more difficulty with coping. Cast adrift in the morphic sea of the collective unconscious where there is a lot going on we are riddled with the human condition. We need to be grounded or work on our grounding. To that end this is a good time for foot reflexology or shamanic soul coaching to rebirth and reconnect to our soul purpose. Connected to the source, to non-tangibles or spiritual existence we share our inspirations, thoughts and intentions. Discover the power that is found in silence. Silence energises the mind. It is an art and a tool of the wise. We can work to perfect the art of silence. Emotional impressionism stirs the memories so we are likely to experience a "slide-show" of the mind during quiet moments. Intuition and empathy are strong; our creative imagination connects with our intuitive inspiration which further influences the conscious rational mind. For a short time our tasks may be linked to the welfare of others.

18^TH It is time to let go of the personal and social obligations that are becoming obstacles to fulfilment. We want mutual respect, fairness and commitment. Responsibilities and roles will go through an adjustment period. If we feel we have to prove ourselves, if we are frustrated, feeling dependent or oppressed it is a sure sign something has to be redefined, restructured or improved. Learning through our mistakes we establish credibility. Being too dutiful in our attention to the system we wall ourselves in by toeing the letter of the line and failing our initiative, incentive or ingenuity. Build some self-authority into adherence to the system and take on more responsibility. If we cannot renegotiate or renew our situation then we might well consider leaving. We need to stand up for our rights but we need financial security too. Financial restrictions falsely keep us in line. We bow to others if they can provide safety and security rather than getting beyond our old fears and insecurities by separating ourselves from what does not work for us. The patriarchy can reveal itself to be alive and well hiding within today's society.

19^TH We are growing into a larger reality incorporating more than just our globe, we are taking our place in the universe. These transitory times have caused chaos, stress and nervousness to be the normal conditions we live with everyday. But we get the opportunity to rethink our automatic impulses, resolve our dichotomies and get smarter and more selective about our engagements. We have been scrambling since 2010 thinking our global reality is a sinking ship. Now with more objectivity we can observe our compromises, choices and predisposition. We can see the order that exists in chaos. Then we lighten the levels of tension we carry. There is definitely a universalising occurring to global reality and this feels like confusion. We are finding our way. At this time we can sort some of that into different approaches. If we rebel, we rebel against ourselves.

20^TH The month ends on a Disseminating Moon which forms just hours before the Spring Equinox. More than enough people are done with Winter this year. It has been brutal for most of Canada as well as parts of the U.S. that are not used to its touch. The end of the cold season is the topic of most conversations. What many do not realise is how much they have learned this winter, how far they have grown and how much stronger they are. The listener may hear this in shared conversations and tap into an even deeper knowing. The ice is not the only thing that might begin to break up at this time. We are shocked and even upset by the broken relationships, contracts and agreements that are strewn around. If something dissolves, do not try and hang onto it, let it go. The results of many people's internal shifts will make themselves known and it will now cause many successive shifts to occur.

Yeah! The Sun has entered Pisces ~ Happiest of Birthday wishes to all Pisceans. It is one solar month away from Spring ~ Happy dreaming! This year will be unlike the years gone by; you will be inspired. It is good you do not know what to expect, the script can be rewritten and enjoyed. Personal boundaries are weakened, permeable and malleable so new things can happen. You are guided beyond the past and around the present so you can have a front row seat at the doorway of the future. In the lack of syncopation you hear a new beat. It penetrates your consciousness and helps you make better choices. Doors are opening; do not be afraid to walk through. Gain dominion over your weaker more vulnerable parts and engineer this bridge to your authentic self bypassing destructive emotions. You have struggled long and hard for the success that comes your way now. Positive life changing events move life along. You can get snagged on memories, the way things were or should be and miss your opportunity to start a new journey. Ceres is stationing, standing still in its task of turning retrograde. This may support a preconceived state of limbo, a Neverland where personal care is worked out. There is a milestone to be reached in the parent/child relationship. You will refashion life for greater harmony and self-sustaining independence. Mercury comes to a standstill, halts in its backward journey and prepares to move forward. This is a positive turnaround, one that helps you get on a new track. It is working on the deeper levels of the psyche pioneering a new perspective and getting you in gear. Mars stationing retrograde makes you more reserved with others. Perhaps in the process of rearranging your lifestyle you pull back while reworking the basis of each relationship.
