Welcome to the season of transition. As we approach the celebrations of the Winter Solstice and Christ consciousness it strikes me very hard just how many people there are in need. We are all aware of the obvious areas where natural disaster has wiped out everything or war has turned populations into refugees but within our cities and boroughs there is disparity too. We have all been tumultuously affected in some way in recent times. So many go quietly without notice when a simple smile or cheerful hello could brighten their spirit. Then there are the ones we rarely see, the casualties of modern civilisation; the homeless. It is time, we need to turn to our charitable self and think less about out-doing last year's presents. In some houses Christmas presents are piled high to the ceiling; in other houses there is not a one and some people do not even have a home or family "they can turn to". Seeing people for who they are not as we think they are is important when life is filled with so much anxiety, fear and peril. Knowing that people and their circumstances on the earth are designed to achieve the experience that is right for them opens our hearts. Listening is a worthy gift. We simply need to think about these things and do what our heart tells us to do.

Also, another symptom of consciousness shifting, every time I venture out into the marketplace of life I realise that we are the Tower of Babel speaking in many tongues and not understanding each other. Humanity is fractured, broken and desensitised. Even if we all speak English, we are thinking what we think and not hearing what another means. We are responding less and less to each other because our exposure to violent conditions has habitualised the psychological impact until we do not respond. The breakdown of society's agreements means we are improvising and individualising more at the cost of cooperation. Tolerance has been replaced with attitude. I encourage you to be the 1% of the population that makes a difference.

Uranus is getting ready to change direction, it will be stationing direct this month. We are already feeling the muted rumblings of impending chaos nipping away at the edges of our reality. It is similar to a breeze or wind ruffling our skirts. We sense random, brief snippets of impending disorder threatening our organisation. This comes in preparation for the transition but nothing manifests in any great form till the actual turnaround occurs. The planet of transition will then work with us. In fact there are lots of corners to turn this month and each one although challenging will be productive and affirming. Mercury and Mars change signs so our mind and our assertiveness will wobble a little until we get our bearings within the new vibrational resonance. We will notice both as they change our state of mind and body. There are a few snags to avoid; guilt trips, hang-ups and expectations play a large part in trying to keep us from moving forward without entanglement. Major milestones are revisited and reached.

21^ST What a power packed moment when the Sun enters Sagittarius. That translates into tremendous potential for Sagittarians in the year ahead. Happiest of Birthday wishes to all Sagittarians. This is the sign of transition; the Sun has already gone south. The northern hemisphere cools down and the southern hemisphere heats up. For us up north, this is a time of finding our inner light and sharing it with others. It is a social season that carries us through the periodic gloom of the on-coming wondrous winter. Sagittarian influences are playful, spontaneous, fun-loving and curious. We jump in without thinking and are very full of our own viewpoint which blinds us to the viewpoints that could expand our focus. The momentum picks up to a lively pace. Cheerful, positive and high-spirited we can draw on this field of energy.

We are definitely full of ourselves and less aware of normal controls, restrictions and conformities. It could be said we will tend to push our trip but it will be met with equal application. Emotionally we are full, super-charged and seeking action. We can be quite sure of our information but still accidentally say things in an offensive, stupid or regretful way. It can come out wrong. Too much energy stored in an inadequate vessel, the body, it spills out. We can make a powerful impression so coach your words and actions.

22^ND Reconfiguration will resolve dilemma. Choices have to be made using artificial, mechanical or synthetic intelligence; we need to put our robots to work. Releasing ourselves from institution we do battle with our ideals in the light of reality. Frustration is the motivation of improvement. Seek sources of mutual agreement and find balance. Humour and helpfulness carry the day. Maintaining good-naturedness helps us to gain confidence. Nothing is black and white; there are only shades of grey. Be still, seek virtual help and think things through.

24^TH Erratic energies interrupt the flow within emotional and familial bonds. The pressure can cause sudden and unexpected events, upsets and rebelliousness. In some instances there will be breakthroughs or major insights because of the unexpected. We find it difficult to listen and trust our thoughts and intuitions, it takes extra effort. Transmissions are weak or flawed as if coming from a great distance. Electricity currents can be interrupted as well as computers and wireless phones. We do enjoy the benefits of innovation, alternate choice or unconventional directions. Creative experimentation leads us to revolutionise our diets to improve and transition to better health. Exploration and independence can be expressed positively and we can enjoy greater freedom without compromising intimacy. We are pruning, releasing and backing off from old standards. This is the time to avoid an error in which something good will be eliminated. Still it is good to try something new.

25^TH We reach a turning point on our journey of inner healing and awakening. The effort is productive, there is much growth and expansion, but we will be required to make some more of these continuous adjustments and revisions. Most likely we will experience circumstances that are incompatible to our traditional beliefs and not wholly supported or acknowledged by those close to us. Disparate beliefs are frustrating and their resolution is less than satisfactory at this point.

Another turning point, the Last Quarter Moon forms between Sagittarius and Virgo. This is the waning half of the cycle, a time when we pare things down, check our progress and decide what is working and what is not. It is critical in that it is considered a crossroads. This third quarter phase is intense, headstrong, self-insulating and it is easy to make mistakes. Brooding and dwelling on emotional issues makes them seem larger than they are and more intimidating. Self-flagellation due to insecurity, guilt, fear or paranoia will not be healthy or valid. Strong energies pressure us within our bodies and minds. 27^TH We are challenged to face the cycles of loss and return head on and accept separation and transformation as inevitable. There will be an increase in negotiation nurturing. That is a situation where we get what we want when we do what another person wants. To avoid this is empowering, to enter into it is a power struggle. We can heal by letting go. We can face a life-threatening disease with the power to back it down. Whenever we are working with nurturing, whether it is nurturing the self or others, we are working with the mother principle. Separation or fears are the main interference within emotional bonds. Whatever our mother issues they can surface now. If we take the opportunity to become stronger in character we mitigate the dramas of life.

29^TH Together we are rebuilding form and structure in our everyday lives. Globally there is a movement to make the world more realistic because of what we now know. That which was formed for practical and social reasons due to the conditions of the time is now in a state of decay and collapse. There has been good reason for us to cut our losses. We have borne and in some cases continue to bear the burden of the tension, fear, insecurity and frustration because our belief system is limited to what we have known which cannot support the new paradigm. We are making a shift and we are moving away from oppression and dependency in the process of forming a new type of safety and security. As a collective; humanity is working out new agreements and social contracts.

The Balsamic Moon is a potent time for potentials to form. This phase of the sun-moon cycle appears in the sky as a sliver of a crescent that grows smaller and smaller every day. This is the rest and renewal period of every cycle. It is only a five day window. It represents the healing and soothing stillness of soul and mind; a phase of deepening wisdom and transcendence. The Sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon is found in Libra. Our consciousness is ripe for creating and strengthening our life infrastructure. We are our first priority and no one can fight for our rights better than ourselves. We want to let go of fear and woundedness to come up with a plan and strategy to make our objectives happen. We can and we will change history at this pivotal point. As long as we do not expect anything too grand the transformational pull will be effective. Best if we do not beat the details to death rather embrace the big picture. Creating a new social structure may cause us to strike out on our own, to shake off the remnants of the past and to be open in heart and mind to the coming of a new state.

December 2^nd The New Moon signals the start of a new cycle, a fresh start, a chance to begin again. We can only clean the slate if we let go of the details, stop burrowing into the issues, dwelling on the issues and letting life orbit around the issues. Enough with taking issue, we are building walls between ourselves and others. Forget and forgive, turn to a new focus, one that nurtures. There are opportunities for generous remuneration. Investments can be life preserving but do not buy into the unbelievable scam. The economic climate that peaked then cracked and is in need of recovery and redemption continues to face itself so the governmental powers that be can see what they need to do. Governments are under scrutiny and what they have hidden in the past has and will be revealed. Systems are changing. We can recreate the future by eliminating the paranoia of doom and gloom. The cracks in the economy let in the light. Hang tough, create prosperity consciousness.

4^TH Mental creativity is experiencing a break in the flow. For some this can be a mental block and for others simply inhibition interrupting natural expression. Whatever the hesitation, it comes down to nervous thinking. We need to bridge the gap. Inconsistency gives rise to irony, absurdity, contradiction, rebelliousness, illogicality and finally impossibility if we forge ahead blindly. The dualistic, disconnected and disenfranchised however can be realigned. We seek alignment and are prepared to follow our vision. Universal and humanitarian ideals fuel social change. We are working toward that change.

Curiosity peaks when Mercury journeys through Sagittarius. There is a quickening that stimulates the molecules of our being. This is the universal source of enthusiasm, hopefulness, optimism, buoyancy and restlessness. We pick each other's brains and delight in truthfulness, honesty and philosophical wit. Many questions can be asked but few details may be retained. It is possible to be too blunt and it is easy to make mistakes. But the playfulness of Sagittarius we enjoy along with spur of the moment impulse. On the positive side the openness of mind can let go of erroneous beliefs. In the tentative zone beware of the shock and awe humour or the pestering and purposeless chatter that fills the airwaves. We are able to handle new ideas and concepts. The strange or unfamiliar intrigues us. We view every new idea as a chance to grow and expand our mind. We are learning to trust our ability to be in the present and let higher wisdom flow through us.

5^TH Our integrity is in question. The conflict between our idealised expectations of love and the actual relationship we are in comes down to our pre-set attitudes and beliefs. We are supposed to deal with this on an internal level not project the blame onto someone else. Conundrums are exasperating. There is a tendency to take an exaggerated opposite stance to whatever triggers us. We need to examine our own ideas. Conflicts arise between cultural tradition and belief system. Self-adjustment is needed. We cannot continue to play a role that is disloyal to our true purpose.

We have the Crescent Moon Phase forming with Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon on the last degree of Capricorn. The 29^th degree of any sign sets up critical components when it is triggered. We are not viewing others clearly; we see what we think we see rather than what is. The faults and failings of others seem to be far easier to judge in this subjectivity. It is the beginning of the flu season, take your immune boosters, feed yourselves well and get sufficient rest and exercise.  We see the present in terms of the past, projecting dispersions and rejecting others because of what we think we perceive. Righteous self-validation disposes of valuable resources.

If we tangle with a core issue within ourselves or a fanatical facet of someone else the answer will be to separate from it or them. Free expression will win out over ideals and beliefs too. We will project this energy into an oppositional relationship. It will create much tension anxiety and other nervousness. A polarised dichotomy will be brutal. We are over-zealous in our attempt to convince and convert. To get unstuck we need to come clean. It is more advisable to find a working compromise.

6^TH Look beyond evidential judgement as the circumstances could be out of the ordinary. Behaviours can be uncharacteristic of a person's standards. Political and intellectual beliefs are challenged to expand our concepts of time and thought. We are prone to dichotomy and polarity if we do not make the effort to balance and integrate intellect and intuition within our psyche. The path of self-awareness and healing uses focused imagination to reshape reality. We experience a turning point in our standards and strategies dealing with acceptance and approval.

7^TH When Mars enters Libra we get a reminder of Saturn's message during the years 2010-2012. Any serious resolutions formed over that time come up for review. We will be grading our progress. We get reminders of what is important. Libra, however, is the sign of indecision so without the grounding energies surrounding us in 2013 there can still be wavering, procrastination and endless consideration of all sides of the question. For the sake of peace and quiet, being part of a team or simply to put irregularities aside we can compromise ourselves and acquiesce. Take the time needed to make decisions fairly, honestly and correctly. Competition can throw us off unless we are involved in sporting contests then it spurs us on. We can discover greater latitude in our work and in our ability to get along with others.  At this time team work can accomplish a great deal more than singular effort.  Awareness of injustice provides the opportunity for corrective measures to be imparted without personal advantage playing a part.

We are on a journey of healing and awakening. While we find it difficult, the effort produces much growth and expansion. No doubt we will be making continuous adjustments and revisions and our modified position can be incompatible with our traditional beliefs which can be a conflict for some. We cannot expect to be wholly supported or acknowledged by those close to us. Disparate beliefs are frustrating and their resolution is less than satisfactory but we must persist.

9^TH The Moon in Pisces has reached the acute angle that is the First Quarter Phase with the Sun in Sagittarius. A crisis point of becoming, a glitch in the launch of our new plans, a curve ball, obstacle or realisation that modifies what we are doing. It is in our best interests to promote a change in how things are done. We take action to restructure, change our system or reorganise methodology. Inspiration directs our thoughts and we are driven to realise the inner vision. For some money can be no object, for others there is a financial strain we are willing to undertake considering the hoped for end result.

10^TH There is no doubt that we have been working on our vision, using visualisation, powers of attraction and manifesting our reality by tapping into our core essence. So we are in a powerful position for focusing and manifesting our vision. We have increased perception, objectivity and detachment. We are inspired by an idea or are dedicated to a cause and prone to fair play, justice or defence of the underprivileged. Knowledge and insight are converted into wisdom and this has a healing and balancing affect. This is an excellent time for counselling or being counselled and for exploring the healing arts. But if personal expression is blocked we can experience social alienation or perhaps isolation. If seeking a new partner now is a good time to hold the image of what we seek in our mind's eye. This is good energy for attracting others who share cultural values, creativity, intellect or professional ties. They will be committed and dedicated.

We were around this corner three years ago. Now focused transformation follows the breakdown of the old structure. We have experienced stress, conflict, issues like abuse of power and many natural disasters. There will no doubt be more. Each individual will open doors in search of deeper truth. It is form versus substance; traditions fail, infrastructures cannot withstand the acts of God, so we seek deep, mystical experience and regeneration. We cannot rule out natural disasters they are prevalent. Problems with obsession or addiction become acute. We need to give them attention. We are drawn to empowering and transforming experiences. Many strengthen and deepen their devotion and spiritual power.

11^TH Large sums of money can come our way. It may be a capital investment, loan, mortgage or some other form of other people's money. The efforts we have already expended are paying off. We get what we need to motivate our objectives. This is good problem-solving energy; we notice what is usually unseen. Depth of mind is not easily satisfied. Surface explanations or superficial understandings will not be adequate. Deeply delving strategies detect, heal and transform. There is a natural interest in human psychology, motivation, behaviour patterns as well as the broader subject of metaphysics. Excellent planning skills aid presentation and unforeseen development. We work with regenerative healing techniques as well as with inventive or artistic processes.  The natural yin and yang are balanced. Some people use psychology to get what they want from those they can make powerless.

12^TH It is a matter of integrity that we develop greater clarity so we can see where and how our long-range goals will take form. We can decipher what is needed and where we need to go. It is necessary to go inward to our internal knowledge base as external support is not readily available. This will help us to cut our losses and concentrate on areas of growth and expansion. Financial decrease is due to big expenditure. It is possible to expand and contract at the same time to achieve progress in a balanced way. We see how and why everything fits into the whole so it is easier to take setbacks or problems with a philosophical attitude. Triggers release past perspectives that give us a different viewpoint. With a more practical approach our sense of duty and responsibility is enhanced. This helps us to face our discomforts or anxieties. Some come to realise that material or financial expansion is limiting and how property and possessions create more responsibility than freedom. Seclusion is good for us; it helps us to think things through. With a paternal attitude we want to protect others and take on their troubles.  Do not overdo this.  Good intentions interfere with other people's lives.  Let them deal with their own problems. No need to play a role that is disloyal to our true self.

We may experience some confusion in handling different levels of experience. It is possible that the overall plan gets forgotten in our attention to detail so we revise our plan. On the other hand the plans we visualised may become difficult to bring down to earth.  Whatever comes up it is the flaw in the planning and executing process. Due to this we  eventually learn to get things in proportion.

13^TH As the Moon grows past the quarter it starts to fill up with light. We are at the Gibbous Phase with the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon ahead of the Sun in Taurus. The growing moon sheds light in all the dark corners and recesses. It flushes out our secrets because they are not good for us. We can work on our integrity and the attitudes we have inherited. It is possible to absorb what we need from the environment, like osmosis. We feed on what will nourish our transformation. Karmic transitioning clears the palate just like sherbet so we have a taste for more. We are as unsure of ourselves as it is healthy to be because it promotes the best we can be.

Things will get blurred enough that we cannot continue in the same old fashion and along comes some tension that puts us in a difficult position. What would normally be a definitive act gives us more irritation than warranted. Idealism and inflated expectation need to be flushed out of the psyche to clear out old issues and cleanse our potentials. Boundaries are permeable which can be emotionally and psychically draining. This leads to low energy. Overanxious and unrealistic, double-check and do not be hasty, be careful with machinery, driving or working with sharp implements. Strong passions and desires can link us with questionable, deceptive and insincere people. Practice safe sex because there is an increased vulnerability to social disease. Inhibition and sexual psychological maladjustment is psychosomatic. Some seek escape and fantasy, others artistic expression but for everyone the psychic faculty is enhanced.

14^TH We need to contemplate all the ways that we fail ourselves. The sources of our frustration, anger and bitterness are the places we fail to act on our own behalf. Our social agreements are being refashioned too and we rely on these to control our efforts in a disciplined way. So we feel out of step, out of place and unsure about what we consider the right thing to do. What control mechanisms cause a failure to act on our own behalf? In what way do we fail to trust ourselves? We need to become aware of what holds us back. We need to proceed at our own slow but comfortable pace cautiously deciding as we go.

16^TH Uranus is slowing down to a stationing turnaround. No longer retrograde and not quite yet direct, it can create a state of vacuumous turmoil. Redefining terms of relationship and moving from the conventional to custom build commitment is not as simple as it sounds. Amidst the stress of needing to change expectations; erratic and unreliable urges create conflicts, fears and other discomforts. It is easy to say the creative way is to include the individuality and intimacy needs of both partners but it is the negotiation of these agreements that is tricky. With Uranus Stationing in its turnaround to resume direct motion it increases the impatience to exasperating levels. Weave in some excitement and spontaneity to help the cause. It takes away the feeling of being trapped or cramped and confined which is a source of tension. By tomorrow Uranus will resume direct motion releasing the pent up tension. We need to do our level best to reach a new normal before Christmas Eve and Day as energies will be triggered on these festive days.

17^TH The Moon is Full; well that is a kicker just as Uranus is building up steam to release its unbridled self. Energies are a might intense. That which is repressed, hidden, held back, subdued becomes unleashed. Well it has to happen sometime. Karma is very much alive in what does occur or what does come to light during this illumination. What will be will be Que Sera Sera. The energies are dualistic, scattered all over the place, so we have to ground ourselves and plant our feet firmly on the earth. Exaggeration, insinuation, assumption and other gossip frivolously plays with people's lives. Judgements about personal values are based on subjective opinion nothing else. We need to live free of these negative vibrations and be the best example of what we believe in that we can be. Mistakes and flaws teach us to improve ourselves.

We have been wound up by recent planetary aspects and the full moon helps enormously to release the pent up energy of chaos and excitement as Uranus resumes direct motion. The knee-jerk reaction of the thrust can put us into a position we did not anticipate. It may kick us out of a rut and disrupt routine. Things happen suddenly and situations leap forward. For some the direct motion can unleash Pandora's Box of pent-up emotional volatility. More importantly it brings the desire to be totally true to ourselves. The full measure of intuition, telepathy, clairvoyance and inventiveness is available once again. Insights, inspirations, meditations and vision quests lead us to positive solutions. Uranus rules earthquakes, earth changes, big business, politics, new and old technology, unrest and it rules the masses. Watch the media to see what gets stirred up this time.

Nothing is cross-checking our imagination for quality purposes. We are left to our own resources. Our external censors are turned off. Foolish ideas, delusions, idealistic beliefs and other unrealistic conditions need to be manually filtered out of our reality. To blindly forge ahead will lead to future peril. Projecting an illusion onto other people gives them power over us. Seeing others as owning a higher station that ourselves will diminish us. They can puff themselves up to appear more important but this too is an illusion. We can react to that which gives us discomfort or anxiety by becoming defensive. Role-playing is game playing; we need to be our authentic self. Still there is reason to be optimistic if we are realistic as well. Opportunity will make an appearance through the smaller more fleeting chances, ones we might easily overlook. They may come through people or connections from our past.

18^THThere are no governors on our appetite. Overindulgences can become major, like over-eating. There are likely to be large or festive meals scheduled. We can really stretch our stomachs into believing it needs more on a daily basis. Until then our eyes are bigger than our stomachs. Big expenditures can arise around children, parents, grandparents or in-laws. Ethnic issues are possible as are conflicts due to beliefs. We feel incomplete in our independence as well as our ability to nurture. Defensiveness is a problem when it is unnecessary. This is a good time to get involved with the world's hunger programs. Legal issues could involve children, medicine or academic professions. We need to be our true self, as authentic as possible rather than play a role.

19^TH Sensitivity, nurturance and spirituality combine so we can sort out the real from the imaginary. We seek to clarify these aspects of life within our being. In support of this process we will recognise the karmic ties between us and others. In some cases there can be deep soul recognition. This is an awkward stage in the process of becoming what we believe, we are needy but our ideals are misplaced. Issues of separation or the need for sacrifice are a catalyst for connecting to the eventual and surrendering to it. One way or another growth comes through our imagination and the process of letting go. Fantasy and other imaginary exercises are nurturing. Artistic expressions struggle with the need to be validated. A change to our spiritual beliefs means a change in our lifestyle. We can victimise ourselves with sympathy. Taking care of a needy person will be draining. No amount of nurturing will fill the void or feel satisfactory to the person who does not feel they deserve care. They are escaping their reality and tapping into another person's to enable as well as validate their escape. Some will use alcohol or drugs. At the time we want to opt out we need to face things square on.

21^ST This month ends on a Disseminating Moon. The Sun is on the last degree of Sagittarius and the Moon is midway through Leo. What we learn from everything we encounter is of greatest importance. They say we cannot take it with us, well material belongings we know it is true, but if our soul stores all incarnated experience then we can take what we learn with us. It is incorporated into the creation of our next encounter with human life if we are to have one. The more we evolve during a lifetime the better we enjoy our next experience. It is harder to practice these beliefs when the world is in such desperate turmoil and strife. Every day we are challenged and could fall down the ladder of ascension. For now we can do the spiritual polka till we make it to the waltz. If we did not make mistakes or get confronted by the unknown we could not take advantage of the accelerated learning curve. Uranus resumes direct motion and lets all of its stored energy lose in a sudden flush. The acceleration can take you off your course which is fine as long as you enjoy the journey. You crave more of yourself, more realisation, greater actualisation and it comes when you accept that you are the only person you have to please. Great empathy, sympathy and sensitivity envelopes you and you are drawn to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. This is not an individual, more likely a charity.
