We have three eclipses in a row, two will occur this month. It is normal to have a Lunar Eclipse {April 25} followed by a Solar Eclipse {May 9} followed by a third Lunar Eclipse {May 25}. When something is eclipsed they say it is never the same again. Some are more affected than others. Please read your Sun sign for details. The planetary party in Taurus is due to be experienced in each of the first four signs of this new zodiacal year. We will be continuing with this density as the Sun progresses through Taurus. After a lot of practice, we are beginning to make peace with the unpredictable. Where systems or situations have broken down, become irregular, unsettling or even shocking we have worked to gain a broader understanding and we will continue to be inspired by insightful breakthroughs. The different facets of the social system will regroup. This planning stage will be useful in developing strategy. We are in an upgrading phase during which we will pull our design together and create a flow. Original and independent thinking is inspired. We can articulate our vision. Many small things will combine to create the big picture. There are bound to be many advances in electronic technology and computer programming.

With the Sun in Taurus, we are given the strength and tenacity to follow through on all the projects that we have initiated during impetuous Aries. This is a good time to attend to tasks that require thorough and careful attention. It is possible to slow down and pay attention. If we have our eye on a goal we are sure to make progress in that direction. Express what is felt in a non-accusational manner designed not to hurt. If repressed energies build up they will explode at an inappropriate time. Other people do not know what they are doing to cause such a monumental reaction. There are always opportunities no matter what status affects the world. Opportunities we would look for in the past are less advantageous but we learn from trying what to look for now. 21^ST We will be glad to see the tail end of this combination of energy and all the contracts that it has broken. For those of us on a pathway to wholeness; there is a sense of equality, strength and balance in how we rebirth our relationships. Committed to finding an enlightened path of resolution many relationships will gain in strength.

We have some profound and remarkable dreams, visions, meditations and inspirations. Magnetism will link us to what we need to improve our resonation. People places and things we resonate with will be drawn to our attention.

To do so would be folly as it is obvious there is much that is not known. It is best to gather facts; do the leg work, check authenticity and do not over-do self-authority. Be prepared to be surprised. Take some time to contemplate quietly, to be still or to listen psychically. What we are meant to know will come. The soul's journey is of greater importance. Time passes swiftly. The power of now helps us to focus on making the most of our days. We align our lifestyle so that it will facilitate and support living in the moment and fulfilling ourselves rather than putting that off for another day.

23^RD If we are into personal growth, problem solving, healing or transformation our experiences will be regenerative. The power of the mind will create ideas that will alter reality. The first conscious thoughts in the morning and other reliable inner dialogue are the answers that map the way. This is an amazing atmosphere in which all things are possible. It is the break we need to sift through subconscious information to sort and categorize new definitions or cross-references. We detect what is hidden; we tap into the collective reservoir of knowledge and have flashes of brilliant understanding of human nature's motivation and behaviour patterns.

We are empowered beyond our natural state. Unforeseen developments are presented. Large sums of money will exchange hands. A loan or mortgage is available. The natural yin and yang are balanced. But there are always going to be people who exploit energy. This vibration can be used by people who use psychology to get what they want. Some use another person's sense of powerlessness or accommodation to their own advantage. Do not be manipulated by these people. While it is their bad karma, we can get messed up.

24^TH We have to ask ourselves about the type of conflict are we putting in the way of experiencing satisfying relationship? The masculine side of our nature is given too much force. This emphasizes our differences and limits our choices. Naturally issues dealing with the father or another male authority figure can come up. Competitiveness and exclusionary tactics are symptomatic of this influence. We see things in absolutes, black or white, right or wrong. The resolution lies in acknowledging the value of others in one's creative process and finding a way to incorporate their contributions while still being true to the self. Co-create reality in terms of inclusivity. This energy will help us to understand how we stand in the way. Without co-commitment we cannot satisfy everyone's needs. Singularity strangles.

Vesta joins Ceres in Cancer. These two large asteroids have once again been deemed planets but even though they are categorised as "dwarf" their influence is not insignificant. We will renew our dedication to fulfilling our goals. Nurturance, emotional rapport and a sense of shelter are things that help us feel focused and centred. Our devotion and service go to those who need nurturing.

We will thrive on being needed; loved and cherished otherwise we will withdraw and be non-communicative. We need to be in touch with our inner self to balance concern and care for others with our own emotional and spiritual well being. The emotional or feeling side of any situation is more enhanced.

We have increased warmth, compassion and capacity for unconditional love. We can feel another's pain or suffering. We seek to heal whatever ails us. We seek out safe places and healing energies. We are also more aware of our planet, the Earth, and want to be careful with its resources. This is good for any project requiring intuition and insight.

25^TH We are on a bit of a roll as far as pulling things together is concerned. It is easier to find the key information needed. In this positive flow we can piece together the facts of the matter working instinctually and following our senses. Intuition enhances the intellect. The intellect enhances imagination. These facets of our mental capacity will merge with great proficiency to promote our ambitions.

Acute sensitivity to patterns will help us to recognise them in the moment. Holistic thinking and perception will understand how wounding impacts a whole person. We come to appreciate what makes ourselves and others give up. Making this information our property we work within ourselves to initiate self-healing. By doing so, we allow for a more natural unfoldment, evolution and process of change. We are able to identify the keys to wholeness. We exemplify the life we desire as imagination, creativity and intellect will be superior.

The first Lunar Eclipse of the year is amazing even though it is short in duration. It is only a partial covering of the Full Moon. We would have to be in Europe, Asia, Australia or the Eastern seaboard of North and South America to see it. It is, however, packed with power, intellectual fortitude, effective discipline and self-control. The mind is exceedingly stimulated and curious. The boundaries between ourselves and others are blurred. This frees us up to act as we will and be less influenced by the states or status of others. We are in touch with our organic essence and act on our own authority. There can be breakthroughs, new discoveries, technological improvement and a solidifying of our foundations. This eclipse fixes things, improves relations and promotes our well-being. We see others as they are not how we would wish them to be.

26^TH  We are in the process of remaking ourselves. If it is necessary to let go of beliefs, commitments or relationships to make things whole we will do so. We need to see ourselves and find personal healing through the mirror of our relationships. We change things if we do not like what we see. It is easier to recognise where our essential wounding is caught up in our beliefs.  This initiates a journey into an expanded perception. We come to understand where we need to initiate ourselves. It will be necessary to reshape and redefine our commitments to allow for these adjustments. We make changes because we have to feel we are able to share with the people we relate to.

We are acting on faith. We are cause-related and aligned with our ideals. Our heightened senses are filtering, probing, receiving and transmitting on a vibrational level. Sensitised, our powers of intuition and perception are acute. We see through others for what they are. Motivation is transparent. We do not need much physical energy for this; most is focused on consciousness. Our enlightenment is practical even though we are more creative and imaginative. This is a good time for retreat, seclusion, stillness or meditation or for writing and other art projects. New forms of consciousness are being developed.

28^TH During the Disseminating Moon which is the next few days do not give out more information than is needed. We will have a tendency to "tell all" go too far in our explanations or spill the contents of our mind without caution. It is important to hold our tongues even with people we have known for a long time. We have to be careful who we trust. People can be so demanding and authoritative that they draw things out of us or put us in a spin. In a spin we are not sure what we are saying but the recipient can make use of all the disconnected details. They just do not put them together correctly.  Likewise realise if this is done by us without intention that it would be good to put the other person at ease. Some enjoy the power play and they do victimise others or enjoy the awkwardness they affect. Aspire to not be one of those people.

Families will be working on their policy. Children in different stages of development require adaptive support systems. Letting offspring mature in a self-reliant and self-sufficient way furthers their self-worth and sense of independence. Family values are strengthened by this action. Relations are stable and nurturing is maintained in a way that boosts confidence. We help our children build solid and realistic foundations of their own. Parents are busy working hard offering a good example and a sense of security. Even in their absence due to other obligations and responsibility it helps their children become strong. All in all we are more balanced and practical, controlled and disciplined but still kind and caring.

30^TH Whatever we are doing we must take 100% responsibility, accept temporary limitation and learn how to assert a stable self-authority with superiors. We are not full-speed ahead but in some area of life we are looking at the final leg of completion. There are limitations, inhibitions, irritations, rules, delays, mistakes and other temporary restrictions. In another area of life there can be collapse, defeat or lessons of humility. Even where our direction is right this is a critical point in that journey. Wherever we are channelling our concentration and attention we may have to redo our plan to be more constructive. There are moments when we feel inadequate and indecisive or alternatively we are in ego conflict. Restructuring turns us inside out. Our weak spots are showing. Beware of people who use this opportunity to target them. They are just venting anger and grievance upon the first available victim.

1^st Happy May Day! Mercurial luminosity joins in with the festival of planets in Taurus generating the determination and stick-to-it-ness we can use. The pace slows down. Careful methodical thinking and communication allows space for alternatives. Unhurried integration of fundamental values and practicalities help our efforts to take root and develop. Taurus is a great filtering field where information is accepted or discarded and resources are gathered. Making lists of things to do and sorting priorities help us to map out a plan. We think before we act but with a wealth of common sense we learn by doing. We find ourselves humming or whistling while we labour. Our spirit is lifted and our sense of perception, smell, touch, feeling, colour, mood and taste is increased. Thinking and sensing types, intuitive and feeling temperaments and creative or artistic aspirants will enjoy the uplift.

2^ND In some situations there are a lot of conditional demands floating around in the background and long repressed anger that can surface with the contentious Last Quarter Moon. Be careful when angry words are spoken. When energy is stored the details are very real to the person storing that energy. But when it gets expressed the history does not have the same impact on the perpetrator. They simply do not remember as vividly or at all. It is very real to the person storing the anger, they have gone over and over and over it till the conviction is etched in the brain. Revitalise by dissolving the emotion, present in the atmosphere without blame and try, if possible, to see the humorous side of life. Fateful and unexpected encounters are likely. Issues beyond our control seem daunting. Get domestic and family affairs in order. We will be prompted to reorganise our finances, investments, estate or budget. This is one of the best times to attend to such items.

3^RD Very positive and reinforcing energies will flow around our children and family suggesting increased involvement is likely. We feel the nurturing, kindness and care giving that is encouraged in all of us. Independence, confidence and self-worth grows through reciprocal support and encouragement. We can allow others to follow their inclinations with a clear mind and no need for control. Physical activity, adventure and debate nurture the body and mind. Wherever parental-type care is emulated we feel fiercely protective. We teach by example. What is learned now will turn into what is needed. We learn by watching and observing. 4^TH There is volumous energy that can be used in a positive way. Out of last month's energy burst things are beginning to form in surprising ways as events emerge. We change our life because of what was revealed to us or it changes around us. We are innovative. It is time for things like kicking off, breaking through, kicking away, breaking free, rebelling or defying. But there is no need for usurping authority as it is ready and willing to give more latitude and longitude or room to move and is open to suggested improvements. We need to be creative in how we assert our individuality and how we set the example of what we believe in; there is a constructive way of doing it. Rash and impulsive behaviour is accident prone because it does not account for all possibilities. Inconsistent and unpredictable behaviour is not understood by others. It is best not to flail about. Take care with sharp instruments, when using tools, or driving, if feeling unsettled.

5^TH It is time to get an update on what our present day generation of children are bringing to the social dynamic. Innovation is born of pressure between parent and child no matter what age. Universalising the human process is what we are looking at. Out of every layer of peer pressure to change the rules and roles emerges individuality and a new vision of change. We are objective, detached and accepting sometimes indifferent toward these innovations which aids the cause. But we will experience difficulties in trusting our own thoughts and intuitions on this subject as they are scattered or diffused. We try different or exciting foods and are attracted to unusual plants. Many decide to turn to a diet that includes grains, legumes, herbs and veggies as the mainstay.

The right use of power is important to the greater existence. It is important in the fashioning of the law of attraction, cause and effect or karma. Pure profit, the desire for personal benefit and the manipulation of the fate of others are not spiritually motivated aspirations. We all need to sustain ourselves and be self-propelled while considering the social good. There will be opportunities for gain and success. Government or political reform is beneficial. We need to reconsider all long-range goals due to what is out of our control to arrange a favourable outcome. Strong ambitiousness comes with this influx of energy too. The degree of reform we have integrated into our actions will dictate the outcome. We will act on reforms we wish to make. Those who connive or conspire may have a new campaign afoot. Gossip is a curse that ruins people's lives. Gossipers love the adrenaline the festering brings. Question everything.

The Balsamic Moon is the exact time to ponder the depth and breadth of what is in search of seed ideas and the answers we need. We will be comparing ourselves to others, usually those we admire, look up to or want to fashion ourselves after. It is a weakness of character in a sense as we are meant to be gestating our originality. This is not about actualising yourself it is about realising yourself. We can have expectations that do not come from us. To know and understand ourselves puts us on our pathway of purpose. That is why this is about self-realisation. Peer pressure and social stress affect our psychology and lead us astray. The mind will be stirred up so it will not make repetitive or duplicated choices.

7^TH Children are intense and complex as they fathom a road to their empowerment. These influences symbolise giving birth by c-section. They also symbolise nurturing that is not given freely is a negotiation for power. Coercion and other psychological undercurrents control and manipulate certain situations but we can recognise it. We have to sift and sort through subconscious information to figure things out. Where the caretaking role is used as a vindictive psychological weapon power struggles have manifested over children as possessions. Mother energy is psychologically shrewd or penetrating. The child may have to dramatically change their life if their caregivers are too dominating or smothering. This would be a time to plan a pathway to liberation. Psychological complexes manifest in the diet. Food compulsions and disorders, binge eating and over eating occurs because of feelings of helplessness or powerlessness. Food can be used to control or alienate.

We look back at the lessons we have learned about letting go and try to detach more. We know we can create an emotional crisis, incur loss, create separation, or bury ourselves in grief, sorrow or depression. But we review the drama in the inner recesses of our mind before we act. We replace the fear of loss with acceptance and let go of attachments. Emotional or physical separation and detachment brings objectivity. We are more objective about the role of Mother, how we mother or the role our Mother played in our lifetime. We can release blame, claim and other baggage. Radical changes of life or situation could affect a mother or a child. These bring about conditions beyond control that affect an outcome. In this case letting go is forced.

We can rise to the top, overcome our failings, resolve old anger and help ourselves get beyond old wounds. We have more courage, more assertiveness and wilfulness. We see the weaknesses and dysfunctions of others with detachment and easily spot those who have turned against us. Make healthy decisions, steer away from negative destructive patterns of the past, trade helplessness for helpfulness. Illness is another form repressed energies can take. Instead of standing still or treading water now is the time to move forward with the best fix we can manage for the moment.

8^TH Two forces that govern the brain are coming to meet each other. In their phase they promise to help to develop the intellect. They will help us to do whatever it takes to solve our large scale problems. This is a brainstorming atmosphere but it takes place behind the scenes before it becomes public. New approaches have to be formed in order to deal with the big picture. We can easily see our place in the larger scheme of things. Imagine the mind laying idea eggs that will hatch later. That is what we are doing. We breakdown the old conditions with creative wisdom and merge that with ideology, belief system, legal issue or culture. More impartial, philanthropic, tolerant, optimistic and negotiable in our reasoning we can judge more fairly.

We will have cause to reflect upon what is necessary to get approval from experts, grandparents, teachers, doctors or professors etc. We will develop strategies that include diplomacy, humour, helpfulness, politeness, mentoring, listening, intellect and sophistication. But notice that there will be people who use superiority and self-confidence to disapprove of others. Just know that they are more to be pitied than blamed. These are excellent energies for art, culture, education or politics. We are more philanthropic, tolerant, optimistic and negotiable.

Focused imagination is a useful tool not only for people like artists but all people in the stratum between artists and scientists. It is the ability to visualise that makes it easier to actualise. Some of us are working toward our vision of unity, peace or service. It is possible to refit our dreams into reality. The quest can begin. Inspirational experiences of transcendence bring a multi-dimensional level of awareness that is helpful in many ways. We refine our ideals and act on them. We express ourselves through music or another art form either as a participant or spectator.

9^TH Venus in Gemini can increase the superficial-social aspect of life. We are light, airy, witty, chatty, friendly and entertaining. We seek variety with androgyny. The right and left brain will experience an opportunity to merge masculine and feminine, intellect with imagination, scientific with symbolic into a synergetic expression. We will be on the move, visiting or attending, writing or speaking with others. It might not be noticed but there is less consistency and constancy, communications have less depth and we are inclined toward avoidance. We curiously cloak our words, hide our thoughts and tend toward censorship of others. It could be because we are in our head not our heart. The unacceptable is disposable rather than workable. It is easy to be callous.

There is a Solar Eclipse this New Moon. We just had a Lunar Eclipse last Full Moon. It is quite normal that the lunar and solar eclipses are grouped together. Another lunar eclipse will follow next Full Moon making it three in a row as usual. This Solar Eclipse is intense. It will be easy to get bigger than reality. The intimidators will be at large. We can act without conscience and create our own fate. It is important to be disciplined, tempered and restrained from overstepping ourselves and our boundaries. We can forget we are human with our share of all the faults and failings of human kind. We need to keep our faculties and do not let other people pull the hair trigger. If partying is what we are looking for we shall surely find what we want. People couple hastily. Be careful with food and water if travelling. By being true to values and ethics there will be magnetic connection to what is needed.

11^TH The desire to attract a mate or a committed lover drives single people with great force. The same way the rest of us pursue our objectives. By blending freedom and commitment we will also enhance our relationships. However, issues of domination and equality could spark problem areas in relationship. We are building, constructing and adapting not just going our own way with these strongly assertive and competitive drives. Even still, cultural traditions and roles will be challenged in some fashion. Some may get interested in martial arts to appease the warrior within. Willpower, energy, activity, aggressiveness, assertiveness and strong desires interfere with difficult decisions. We must be mindful to maintain our power to be self-reliant, self-governing, self-sufficient and self-sustaining. These are passive aggressive energies and there is a tendency for projection or blame rather than give and take. Unfair tactics will vent repressed anger. Most of us vent honestly.

12^TH Happy Mother's Day Our roots dig deeply into the Earth; we are connected to a path of self-healing and awakening. We know how to nurture ourselves, be one with nature and listen to the universe. Dietary habits will change because we want to strengthen our source of nourishment and nurturing. Our guide and teacher are found in nature. Our children become more ambitious but there is better understanding between parent and child. Family structures evolve to be less orthodox, more variable and not conventional. The compliance expectations that existed in the past do not apply now. This looseness applies to deadlines, agreements, timelines etc. too and this stretches the fabric of cooperation.

13^TH We can get caught up by work, career or business involvements. There are rules and procedures to change. Obstacles suggest where a change of tactics is necessary. Deadlines loom amidst our timing problems. Good thing we have an upsurge of self-discipline and self-control. We are more organised and our minds flex to their cross-references. We give context to previously misunderstood concepts in our history of experience. We can separate ourselves from subjective tunnel vision. Perseverance is no problem, we gain respect for our achievements. The old role of father as the authority figure gets a new definition and we gain the objectivity to see our fathers and authorities as humans beyond their job descriptions.

The Crescent Moon is such a pretty sight in the sky and Jupiter is with Venus not too far away from the moon, we should be able to see their twinkles. Mercury is there if you look just a step away. The tasks we are given to perform may be demanding but their end results are worthwhile. There can be pressure placed on us by others but it too leads us to where we are meant to go. We need to make sure our house is in order, our finances are in hand and our health is well looked after. Most everything that transpires over the several days of this phase is part of our pathway of purpose.

15^TH Quick-witted and eclectic, Mercury moving into Gemini, may make most of us a bit scattered. The mind is very busy. We reason, justify, rationalise and experience intense curiosity. Diversification and versatility is a symptom. Worrying too much is side-affect. Mental patterns become more augmented, we are more aware of them. Making a point quickly becomes a debate. It is no surprise there is an increase in communication and dissemination of information, viewpoint or opinion. We have an increased ability to skim through a broad number of subjects and interests. We should enjoy some lively and far-ranging conversations about what is going on in the world. The down side is sinking into argument, mischievousness, time-wasting or frivolity. Social interactions are likely to increase and we enjoy the fun-filled superficiality of party events. This is a good time to start a writing project, take a short trip, organise get togethers, communicate, research, or take up journaling. We should not be surprised if we take up a few new directions all at the same time.

16^TH Best not to take things personal right now or let the approval of others govern. Certain attributes of self diminish what we can be. We are astutely able to navigate the demands of the times with articulate detail, intuitive resonance and a revolutionised platform. We are making connections, fulfilling our spiritual needs, attending to a realigned financial status and enjoying our relationships. Some of us are wishing for travel and others are planning it in the future. This is an excellent time to attend to health, diet or exercise goals. We are pulling out of hibernation and need to attend to nutrition, nurturance and physical dexterity.

19^TH It is time to conceptualise. Most likely previous ventures are coming to a conclusion. Regardless, it is time to keep our potentials in perspective while we plan future objectives. There is a degree of luck, success or advantage in our favour. We enjoy the strong and vigorous high energy. It is a time of great optimism. Faults to avoid are taking foolish risks, over-riding enthusiasm or overconfidence for all can lead to situations and accidental mishap. Keep focused on the details, we may be overwhelmed by the big picture and that will trip us up.  We are creating our opportunities within our quest.

We are shrinking, letting go, cutting back, breaking away and escaping responsibility. We are also restless, optimistic and want to start over so we can expand on our duties, responsibilities and obligations to include more. It is a process of shrinking away from and growing toward.
