It is truly humbling to hear stories about the impact that your serving has on the people whose homes we work on.  Even more powerful than the work, is your friendship and the relationships that develop in one week's time!

* One resident told us that the crew coming to her home was even better than grandkids because the whole crew lined up every morning to give her hugs!!

* Applying to get her house painted many months before the summer, a resident dared to hope that the painting would really happen.  Then one day she got home, hit her garage door opener and there in the middle of the garage was the paint that would be lovingly applied the following week!  With tears in her eyes, she knew that it would really happen!

* Only wanting a new doorknob because she didn't want to ask for too much, this resident was overjoyed when we told her we would love to paint her entire house!

* Then there is the inexpressible joy when a resident could finally leave his house after being confined to a wheelchair without a ramp for six years!

This summer your presence at TeenServe will mean more residents can be helped!  We will get 350 to 400 requests for help this year.  Every six people that attend means that one more resident will be touched with the love of Jesus!  One person really can make a difference!
