I Fooled You!
As you might imagine, I was overjoyed to finally display my line of Anu Essentials Natural Perfumes at the salon! It's been a labor of love to learn this craft and create my line. I am very proud to finally have them available. I have them set up in the salon now, so please take the time to stop and "smell the roses," so to speak. There are perfume strips available for you to sample the different scents, or feel free to spritz a little right on your wrist. Wait a few moments to see how the scent changes and evolves on your skin.
When I found the perfect display unit made of mirrors, I was very excited and I set everything up just so, using some accent pieces of Vaseline glass that I used to collect. But something told me to fill the display boxes with empty bottles. I am glad I listened to my inner voice, because one of the boxes went missing. In other words it was stolen! I guess that's what is called a crime of opportunity. It saddened me that someone would actually steal a box of my perfume... But in this world, it takes all kinds. For the other 99.9% of our clients, I wish you wonderfully fragrant moments.

Ollie is Gone
1945-2012
Some of you may remember that when we were in TriBeCa we had a Nail Tech, who later became a Loctician with us, named Ollie Calvin. Ollie was a sweet and generous spirit whom everyone loved. Ollie recently made her transition. We will miss her, but will always remember her beautiful spirit, her sweet laugh and talented hands. If you would like to attend the memorial for Ollie, it will be held on her birthday October 17th at the National Black Theater from 6 pm -9 pm. That is at 5th Avenue bet. 125th & 126th Streets in Harlem, NY.
