More Evidence Equality is Good for Business: Two New Reports Show Support and Need for Employment Non-Discrimination Laws

The evidence that LGBT equality is good for business is mounting according to two new reports released yesterday.  A poll by Small Business Majority shows two-thirds of small business owners say federal law should prohibit discrimination against LGBT workers and job applicants.  The survey, which shows the nation's entrepreneurs support federal and state employment nondiscrimination laws and equity in employment benefits comes on the heels of a landmark new report by a coalition of LGBT civil rights organizations that examines how LGBT workers who have the same job as a coworker, can be legally fired, denied equal benefits, and be required to pay thousands of dollars more in taxes simply because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Living and Working Under a Broken Bargain

Today, Out & Equal and their partners released a new landmark report that examines how lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workers might have the same job as a coworker, yet be legally fired, denied equal benefits and be required to pay thousands of dollars more in taxes simply because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Start An Executive Care Franchise

Are You Ready to Discover the Executive Care Difference?

The Executive Care model provides an excellent opportunity to succeed. New franchisees are provided with six months of payroll and billing free of charge. We also grant territories of 500,000 people - twice the size of a typical senior care franchise.

Are you ready to make a difference in your community?

Executive Care opened its first office in 2004. We recognized early on that each situation is unique and that families face challenges in finding friendly, qualified and dependable caregivers that are dedicated to preserving the independence and dignity of their loved-ones.

We also discovered that caring for a family member is not easy, nor is it something most family members are prepared to do. The burdens of family caregiving can lead to resentment, burnout, and friction among family members. Executive Care franchise network offers the freedom for family members to remain a caring child, spouse, or sibling.
