Hope Partnership and NBA team up on new Leadership Academy track

Registration closes August 24

More faith leaders want to launch new social-service ministries to benefit their communities, but they may not know how to start.  Hope Partnership and the National Benevolent Association are teaming up to create a special opportunity for "social entrepreneurs of faith" at Hope Partnership's upcoming Leadership Academy on Sept. 22-26 in Indianapolis that will help them make their vision a reality. The Social Entrepreneurship Track will offer participants an in-depth market analysis of the community these leaders seek to serve; time to develop a core mission, vision and strategic plan for the initiative; an opportunity to collaborate with other entrepreneurs; workshop options on fundraising, social media, leadership development and more.

Also designed for new church planters, pastors of transforming congregation, interim ministers and lay leaders, the Leadership Academy will feature preaching and empowering instruction from inspiring Disciples leaders, including Rev. Dr. Sharon Watkins, Pastor Marvin Owens and Rev. Dr. Dick Hamm.

Registration closes on Aug. 24, but there is still plenty of room in Leadership Academy Tracks 1.0 and 2.0 (Advanced Cohorts). Spaces for the Social Entrepreneurship Track are limited, so those who are interested should contact Ayanna Johnson Watkins at rev.ayanna@gmail.com. Visit www.hopepmt.org/LA for more information and to register for Leadership Academy.
