A new addition to the resources for studies on the Democratic Republic of Congo, Song of the Congo, is now available on the Global Ministries website. The 17-minute piece shows the wide range of work done by our partners there in the DRC from health care and support of abused women to the education and nutritional programs. There is also a report on the new partnership between churches in Haiti and the Congo.
The reality hits us daily. The changes in the way we do ministry in a world of Facebook and Twitter, the increasing number of people in sandwich generations caring for parents and children and sometimes grandchildren, the changes in the demographics of our countries. Whether we are in established congregations or part of the new churches supported by the Pentecost offering, we are awash in the "new" around us.
