| Children's Religious Education Update |
Our Children's Religious Education (CRE) program is divided into two groups by age. In CRE, which meets each Sunday at 11 AM, we challenge our children with interactive studies about religion and science.
May 17th - The nursery-age kids are continuing their studies of spring and the older children will continue making a book on the world--our home. If you haven't checked the lasagna garden lately, take a look. We've got veggies and flower sprouting. If you have empty baby food jars, we will gladly help you recycle them for fathers' day projects.

"Part of Servetus's motivation for taking on the Trinity was his concern that the doctrine unnecessarily separates Christianity from Judaism and Islam. In The Errors of the Trinity, he praises Islam's acceptance of Jesus as a prophet and regrets that Christianity does not return the favor by acknowledging Muhammad. . . . So it was that John Calvin had him executed in Geneva in 1553."
--Susan J. Ritchie,
Children of the Same God: The Historical Relationship Between Unitarianism, Judaism, and Islam (2014).
