Week Three: Feb. 2 - Feb. 8Thirty Days of Love (Jan. 18 - Feb. 16) is a period of intentional action, service, education, and reflection to focus on this essential work. Building Bridges of Love is the theme of Week Three - a chance for us to reach out past walls, barriers, or borders and engage in places we don't usually go. By Building Bridges of Love, we can encourage ourselves and others to practice radical love and inclusion.

February is Stewardship Month
In order for our work together as a Fellowship to continue and grow in the coming program year (June 2014 - May 2015), everyone who is a part of our Beloved Community is asked to make an annual pledge of financial support during the month of February. This week, each member and friend who is listed in our directory should have received a letter detailing our annual stewardship process and the important reasons why we make a financial commitment to the life we share as a Fellowship. If you did not receive this letter, please request one (and a pledge card) from the office. Pledge cards and a collection box are also available in the Fellowship lobby. The contribution you indicate in your pledge may be made on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. We can accept your contribution by credit card or bank draft as well as by mail and in the Sunday offering. Our stewardship emphasis concludes on Sunday, February 23, when all pledges are due. All pledges and contributions are kept strictly confidential. Read more.

Discussion group: Living the Questions
February 13, 2014 - 7 PM
All are invited to this popular video & discussion series held in the large classroom at the Fellowship. January's discussion will be on defining God and, among other questions, how did God get into Jesus?. The series is about rethinking old theological ideas that are not helpful in the 21st century. Discussions are facilitated by Lyle Raker.
This discussion group is especially for those seeking insight on contemporary progressive Christian thought. People know that at its core, Christianity has something good to offer humanity. At the same time, many have a sense that they are alone in being a "thinking" Christian and that "salvaging" Christianity is a hopeless task. What is needed is a safe environment where people have permission to ask the questions they've always wanted to ask but have been afraid to voice for fear of being thought a heretic.
