Tim I can't believe it is March; time is flying by quickly.  A lot of work is being done to plan a great annual conference this April 23-24 in San Diego. Many thanks to Anne Krueger and Laura Gropen for coordinating the conference.  While I cannot divulge the entire conference agenda, I can tell you we will have some great national speakers that individually may be worth the cost of the conference alone.

Looking to hone your social media skills? Would you like to learn how your colleagues dealt with some difficult communication challenges? Do you want to overcome your fears of public speaking? Then you should make the voyage to San Diego April 23 and 24 to attend the CCPRO conference in the beautiful bayside Wyndham Hotel. This year's theme is "Captains of Communication" because we're all in the same boat  -- trying to steer the marketing and communications ship at our colleges without running aground.

IEPIAC: A Mouthful of Good News for California's Community Colleges

The name might not be an eye-catcher, but its purpose and value to California's community colleges is clear: The Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative Advisory Committee (IEPIAC), launched in January, is focused on assembling the people, tools and techniques necessary to identify and address potential problems at our community colleges before they become serious enough to threaten accreditation.
