We would like to thank all of those families who have already contributed to this year's appeal. As of today we have collected a little over $24,000. Our goal was $30.000. We are still accepting donations so if you had intended to participate, know that donations are still welcome! FACTS Tuition Accounts 2016-2017

All families should have now received either a re-enrollment notice or an invite to set up your tuition accounts for the next school year. Just a reminder that ALL families must have an account set up to automatically withdraw your tuition payments on a monthly basis unless you are paying your tuition in full. Tuition paid in full can either be paid through a FACTS account, or sent directly to the school. Payment in full is due by July 1, 2016.

If you did not receive a notice from FACTS regarding your tuition for next year, please contact the school office.

Report Cards and End of Year Obligations
Please take inventory of all that should have been completed or fulfilled before report cards will be mailed:
  • All outstanding tuition for this school year must be paid;
  • All extended day fees must be paid;
  • All library books must be returned (if lost, there is a book fee to be paid);
  • All text books must be turned in (payment must be made for all replacement books that were issued throughout the year and not returned);
  • Outstanding Service-to-School hours completed or a monetary contribution of $10.00 per hour made in place of hours;
This year's final report cards will be mailed this afternoon to all those who have taken care of all of the above. The school will hold report cards and all transcripts that need to be transferred until all obligations to the school have been satisfied. If you have any questions or concerns, contact the school office.

In addition to the above, we would also like to remind you that the fiscal year ends on June 30, 2016.  Any reimbursements for this school should have been submitted by now. If you still need reimbursement, please have your requests to the office by Monday morning. Remember, if you are requesting a reimbursement for PTO monies, your reimbursement must have two signatures.

MobyMax
The school year has come to a close, and we wanted to remind you that your child's  prior year data will be archived at the end of the summer. You may recall that last summer the archiving occurred in the middle of the summer. This year, we have arranged for MobyMax to archive student date on September 17th. That means students with current accounts can continue to make use of the MobyMax program throughout the summer.

After data is archived in September, you can still access prior progress history, placement test results, lesson scores, and session times. Game time and badges also stick around! However, the specific problems done will be cleared out to make room for a new school year of your child's data.  After the data is archived, the teacher will administer a new placement test.

2016 Variety Show Memory Sticks
We are happy to report that the 2016 video edition of the Saint Ann Variety Show is completed!  Once again, the show will only be available as a video file (.mp4), but new for this year, they were sent home to families on memory sticks the last day of school. These memory sticks were sent home with the oldest child in the family. In addition, you can also download the show through the online file transfer service, Dropbox. To access the content, please complete the following:
  •  end Brian Jones an email (@ brian.c.jones@ericsson.com) indicating your desire to access the files.
  •  If you don't have an account, go to www.dropbox.com and sign up for one (it's free and takes no time).
  • You will receive an email link inviting you to access a shared folder with the video files contained inside.  You will find the 2014, 2015, and 2016 shows there, all in HD quality.
  • Once you access the folder, you can download the files to your computer (it may take a bit given the size of the films and the traffic from others also trying to download the files at the same time).
  • The video files are in .mp4 and .mov formats which can be viewed through most media software programs such as Windows Media Player and Quicktime
  • Enjoy the shows!
If you have any problems downloading the files, or would simply prefer not to access online, identical copies of the shows are available in the Saint Ann School office on a limited number of memory sticks.  Interested families may either bring a personal laptop into the office and transfer the files directly (a process which should take about 15 minutes), or may check one of the memory sticks out for the evening to do the transfer at home.

Volunteer Reminders & Needs
THANK YOU VOLUNTE
ERS!

We thank all of you for your service and
assistance throughout this past year.

Preparing for Next Year:
All parents must be fully compliant with Diocesan Child Protection requirements if you wish to volunteer where the supervision of our students is involved. Compliance consists of attending a VIRTUS Child Protection seminar, undergoing two background checks and filling out additional miscellaneous paperwork. Packets of paperwork can be obtained from the school office.

If you have not completed this process, the summer months might be a good time to do so. Go online at www.virtus.org check out the available seminars, and choose one that is convenient for your schedule. The seminar will take 3.5 to 4 hours of your time. And then contact the school for the additional paperwork to finalize your compliance.
