A Message from the Principal
|
Did you know the 8th graders performed "The Taming of the Shrew" at Paul VI today? And did you know that our 2nd graders will dress in their First Holy Communion attire for tomorrow's Mass, as well as lead the school in praying the rosary? Would you like to obtain some additional information about our Annual Appeal? Find out where your donations will be used, winning a pizza party for your child's class, etc.? And finally, are you interested in knowing which staff members will not be returning for the next school year? All this and more can be found in Ms. Therrell's message this week. Click HERE for further information.

Field Day - K-8 - June 8
|
Field Day will be held at Bishop O'Connell High School on June 8. It will take a lot of people to make this day a success. Field day is a special event when all of our K-8 students will be taken to Bishop O'Connell High School and spend the morning in physical activity. Students will be provided with a pizza lunch from Joe's Pizza at the end of the activities. Students will return to school between 2:00 and 2:30pm.
Assistance will be needed to set-up and take down all of the activities, as well as assist running the various games throughout the morning. We will need some parents to arrive at Bishop O'Connell and some to assist at the school in preparation of the trip to O'Connell. In addition, parents will be asked to provide various food items for lunch. All of this information, and more, can be found on the following link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4badab2ca2fb6-k8field. We ask all of our parents to view this link to see how you can assist with this event.
Since our students will be transported by bus to O'Connell, we must have a signed permission form from all families in order for their child(ren) to attend. These forms were sent home earlier this week. If you have not yet signed your form, please do so and return it to the school office immediately. No students will be permitted to attend these activities if we do not have a signed form on file in the office prior to the trip.
If anyone has any questions, please call the school office or email Mr. Zygmunt at tzygmunt @stann.org.
