As Lent comes to an end, we enter into the holiest of days in the Christian world. Following is a schedule of the many services and opportunities that remain here at Saint Ann Church. We hope to see many of you at the various Triduum services over the next few days.
Mass Times

Variety Show Coming in May
|
Time to let our Saint Ann stars shine brightly! Does your child have a special talent they would like to share with the school? The Variety Show, scheduled for May 6th, lets even our shyest stars shine in a supportive and fun production! All participants (solo and groups) must have at least one parent coordinator (two OPCYP compliant adults must be present if using space at the church/school for practices). Please fill out the Act Entry Form and return it to Anne Breville by Wednesday, April 6th.

Variety Show Previews

Attention Parent Sponsors! It's time to schedule your preview time for your child's/group Variety Show act!!!! Click the link below and make sure to sign up for ONE five minute slot. Previews will take place after school on Wednesday April 6 or Thursday April 7. All acts must sign up for a preview. Sign up early to make sure you get the time slot that fits your schedule.

Spring Track
|
It's time to get out the racing shoes and get ready to run, jump, relay race and throw at the NVJCYO Spring Track Meet at O'Connell HS on the weekend of May 7-8. All students in grades 3-8 are welcome to participate - - no experience necessary. Practices will be held on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons from 3:45-4:45 at the Washington Lee HS track, starting on Wednesday, April 6. Art Show Volunteers Needed
|
Change of Day & Time - The Art Show previously scheduled to take place on Saturday afternoon, April 23, has been moved to Friday evening, April 22.
The PTO needs volunteers for this year's art show which will be held Friday, April 22nd, in Fr. Beattie Hall. Several volunteers will be needed to assist with preparations leading up to the 22nd, and to assist the day of the show. Rosary Garden Assistance Needed
|
Spring is here! We desperately need help in the Saint Ann Rosary Garden preparing the grounds for the growing season that has already begun. We have scheduled our first work day to take place on Saturday, April 9. This is a great opportunity for families who are unable to volunteer during the day to earn your required STS hours. Please contact Hilary Anderson at blueskies100700@aol.com to volunteer. Many hands make light work, and we can use yours!

Yearbook Orders Now Being Taken
|
It's that time of year again when we finalize our yearbooks for the current school year. 2015-2016 yearbook orders are now being taken. Your order form can be found HERE. We are only ordered a small number of books this year so orders will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Orders should be sent to the school office for processing.

A Nutrition Message from our Nurses

As National Nutrition Month comes to a close, please take time to read about portion control HERE and HERE. Also, look for a handout in student folders in early April. Happy Easter and of course enjoy some, but not a lot, of Easter sweets!

Reminder for ALL Volunteers:
- All parents must be fully compliant with Diocesan Child Protection requirements if you wish to volunteer where supervision of students is involved. Compliance consists of attending a VIRTUS Child Protecton seminar, undergoing two background checks and filling out additional miscellaneous paperwork. Packets of paperwork can be obtained from the school office.
- When visiting/assisting at the school you must sign-in at the front office upon arrival. Volunteers will be given a pass. The pass alerts the faculty and students that you are an approved visitor.

As announced at the September PTO meeting, the 2014 and 2015 video editions of the Saint Ann Variety show are ready! Given the preference in this day and age for all things digital, the shows will only be available as video files (.mp4 and .mov) which can be downloaded through the online file transfer service, Dropbox. Saint Agnes Summer Camps
Saint Agnes has put together another great summer camp program.

Bishop Ireton Summer Camps
Bishop Ireton's summer camp brochure is ready and attached HERE for your consideration. They offer camp opportunities for students in grades 1 to 12.
CATHOLIC DRAMA & ART CAMPS
This camp has been providing day camps to students in Pre-K through high school in Theatre and Art for over 10 years. All instructors are faithful Catholics and VIRTUS approved. Camp Veritas
