After School Enrichment Activities
|
Responses to our after school activities has been slow. If you are planning on registering for any of these classes please be ready to submit your registration paperwork as soon as we return to school next week, or sign-up on-line where allowed. Immediately upon our return to school we will need to determine which activities will continue and which will need to be cancelled. Registrations received at that time will determine whether or not an activity will continue or be cancelled.
CANCELLATION: YOGA is not longer available. That class has been cancelled.
|
Re-Registration
|
Re-Registration continues. If you are planning on returning next year, please return your re-registration form, along with the re-registration fee of $150.00 per student. The deadline to return your forms was January 25. Due to the inclement weather we are extending this deadline to the first day we return to school. After that time the fee will go up to $200 per student. If you are not planning on returning next year, please submit a letter of withdrawal.
Reminder: If you have a sibling you would like to register for next year, now is the time to do so. If the sibling will be entering K-8, simply add their name to the re-registration form before returning and we will follow-up with you once received. If you have a sibling ready for preschool, contact Mrs. Marchese at tmarchese@stann.org for the necessary paperwork.
IMPORTANT: Additional paperwork sent to you to register siblings MUST be returned immediately if we are to hold a spot for your child. Registration is not finalized until this paperwork is received. Once we open registration to outside families if the paperwork is not received your application will be added to the mix of all applications received and processed on a first come first serve basis. To secure your spot, it is necessary to return your forms immediately.

Come to the Resurrection
|
Lent is a time of penance, prayer, reflection and reconciliation.
For 20 years the interdenominational St. Patrick's Family Players have marked the Lenten and Easter seasons by performing the musical cantata "Resurrection." From New England to California, from Ireland to Italy they have brought their musical performance and faith in the Resurrection not just to audiences in cathedrals and parish churches but to inmates in prison as well.
Told from the perspective of St. Peter, a prisoner about to be martyred, we learn not only of the anguish he felt for his denial of Jesus but also of his repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation with Jesus. The performance by the cast of more than 45 performers ages 2 to 85 is guaranteed to speak to all of us, because Peter's story of betrayal of the Lord followed by the promise of reconciliation is our story, too. Resurrection Flyer
Please join us on Sunday, February 14th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Church (5300 10th Street N.) for this inspiring performance. The performance is free ... and eternally rewarding! Donations will be accepted.

A Note From the Nurses re Epi-Pen
|
In the event of an anaphylactic reaction in a student, who does not have a prescription for an Epi-Pen, Epinephrine will be administered by one of the school nurses at Saint Ann School. Approximately, twenty
percent of allergies are discovered while a child is at school. Deaths due to anaphylaxis can be caused by a delay in Epinephrine treatment.
A standing order for use of the EpiPen in such emergency situations is on file in the school clinic. The standing order was prepared by the Health Supervisor in the Diocesan Office of Schools and signed by a Saint Ann parent who is also a medical doctor. We have an EpiPen for this use in the clinic and the Parish Hall where our students eat lunch. The school received them through the EpiPen4Schools program at no cost.
